Just as a general note, we try not to do trial periods or then everybody wants a trial period. We'd probably make the decision that we think this will be active enough over the long term and implement it, we wouldn't really be expecting to look at it in a month, see it was dead, and reverse it.
I'm not shutting the door on this at all, I think there might be enough demand for it which still has to be seen but I don't think we will begin the practice of trialing forums because it will get out of hand.It costs nothing to be a good friend.

So is this going to happen or will this topic just die? I'd love to carry out a trial period but as nvrspk said, it might make even more begs for trial periods.
Would still like this to happen soon enough. I'd love somewhere to just post my Purple Views instead of the Console Gaming forum, or anywhere else I can imagine.
