Never gonna happen. It was tried two-three years ago and they just used to make accounts non stop and it used to cause more trouble as there used to be hate threads and everything.
IP bans arent effective either as changing your IP is pretty easy.

I'd love to know the one person you're basing this whole thread around, because its all you seem to mention. Also what did he say? All i saw was really screwed up? and unless you know the person you hardly know what the ban reason for them is so you can really judge by that.
It's not you don't worry.
And the 'whole' thread is not based around him. But his case has come up a lot recently.
And I thionk every member on the forum knows the ban reason, due to him shouting about it all the time x
Do you count a ban as a chance? So 10 infractions or whatever it is, is still only their first chance? :S How many of these chances are you willing to give before a member is put on the auto-ban list? It's far to lenient in my opinion.
I can't understand why you would want problematic members to return anyway, it's not like Habbox struggles to gain frequent members and they just create a lot of stress for both regular members and the members of staff who have to constantly deal with them.
I like the idea. However if the management don't like it, what if it was applied after the second ban? Then you can't argue that they didn't get a second chance.

Hit the thread on the head there!Do you count a ban as a chance? So 10 infractions or whatever it is, is still only their first chance? :S How many of these chances are you willing to give before a member is put on the auto-ban list? It's far to lenient in my opinion.

As far as I see problematic users, actually CAUSE more users to get banned etc. I mean I know sometimes telling someone to 'go away' on this forum does nothing. You end up saying 'GO AWAY YOU ******* ***** I DON'T LIKE YOU' and you get infracted?
It would mak moderators jobs EASIER if we just got rid of people after the second ban. (For two weeks!). And as I said earlier, how many chances should someone get?
A caution, temp and even permanent ban can be considered a chance yes. Whether users are put on the autoban list is done at the discretion of Forum Management. For example, there are some members who I know have been banned countless times but their intention is never really to cause trouble or annoy members. Only where people break rules repeatedly and intentionally for the sole reason of annoying people will we consider putting them on the autoban list.Do you count a ban as a chance? Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini
Maximum of three chances depending on what they are doing and what rules they have broken.Hit the thread on the head there!

Well I can't help but think of a particular member that springs to mind who is currently on their third account that I know of. If they continued their old ways and got the third account banned, would they become a possible contender for auto-ban?A caution, temp and even permanent ban can be considered a chance yes. What's your answer to that then?
