Sorry to break it to you but immigration is increasing. It's gotten to such a critical stage that the UKIP want to 'freeze' immigration into Britain for no less than five years. Our tiny little country has it much worse than America. Many immigrates come over here for free health care and steal all the jobs. Anyone can see Britian currently has a problem with immigration unless of course you've been living under a rock.

As for the topic at hand, I totally understand what you are saying Mint, and I would not call you racist. I am a white person who lives fairly near London and I have rather long hair. Every now and then, when I'm completely minding my own business, an Asian person seems to think its alright to tell me to get a haircut, or make a petty remark about how I look - which is just plain rude. They're just looking for trouble. I have never had this problem with any other nationality or race, only Asians. However, it is of course only a select few people in the Asian community. My neighbors are Asian and I get on with them fine. I have Asian friends, and I know some people on this forum are Asian who are all great people. I am not at all a racist person, but because I've only had trouble with Asian people it has lead me to have a different outlook on them, which I believe is no fault of my own. If they didn't want to start something in the first place I wouldn't view them differently. It is definitely one of those minority spoils it for the majority kind of things. These few Asian people who just want to look 'bad' ruin how others view Asians as a whole. It's pathetic really, but unfortunately true.

Another thing which really gets me... no immigrants steal your jobs. How much must you suck at your job if an immigrant took over your job... you must REALLY suck. So why dont all the people that claim they have no jobs, go get a better education & then get the job, because if an immigrant took over your job... I'd be pretty worried...

Say the same about what we wear? :eusa_eh: How could you? We don't exactly go around wearing balaclavas do we? Because that is what they are the equivalent to. Them masks that they wear pretty much are balaclavas, there is no doubt that they are scary, especially to old people and children. In the dark they can be terrifying, they look the same as a man wearing a balaclava who is obviously wearing it for a reason (mugging, murder, robbery etc).

I am asian, I have a white long term girlfriend, I live in the whitest part of Reading. I speak 3 different languages and am very well spoken. I hold a slight dislike towards other asians completely dependent on their attitude but that is because they try to have this gangster, thug-life attitude.

However going by what you're saying, if I were to board a bus and call my mum and speak to her in a different language probably because I didn't want the whole bus to hear my conversation you would be offended by it?

I guess the true welsh, scottish and irish won't be allowed on alex's bus either.

In case you were completely unaware every ethic group has its own social class you can say.

In England we used the older system of chav, townie, goth, mosher etc etc. These days its more like chav and non-chav.

Same applies to Indians and Pakistans they have their own equivalent. So going by your excuse it is fair for me to say.

I hate all white people because I met some chavs as frankly that's the area I live in and I wish they would leave my country. Also for the Muslim equivalent I wish they left their country too.

Frankly this country is where it is today because of every ethnic group, I wonder what the white to asian ratio is for doctors in hospitals? IT technicians, lawyers, accountants etc etc. To hate a group of people because you encountered a minority is so stupid that you may be eligible for a darwin award sometime in the future.

I think for someone as educated as you and someone that could have so much to say in a topic like this, you didn't really do a good job in that post. Nevertheless I will still reply to a few parts of your post.

I wouldn't say offended is the correct word but yes I certainly would not like it. We can manage without the need to speak another language and while it being quite a handy and useful thing to be able to speak a different language I don't think on the bus when many other people are there is the right time. Many people do find it ignorant and think that if they want to live in our country they should speak our language.

You seem quite angry about this and it has made you exaggerate quite a few times. Saying that I might have an extra chromosome somewhere just because I dislike some people from personal experiences is a load of crap. It is understandable for someone to dislike someone or something because of personal experiences, my youth has involved growing up in a place were an ethnic minority is a nuisance and you seem to think that I am crazy for being effected by that.

Immigrants take all the jobs because they'll work for less than average money. Have you never seen UK Border Force. I assume you're still in education so you don't actually know how hard it is to currently get a full time job. Of course the recession doesn't help.

3) I've nearly finished my education near enough and I have found decent fulltime payable jobs when I could and it wasnt hard... but I do agree sometimes its hard to get a full time job, but still thats not an excuse.

Actually it is pretty much always the case, and if you have actually seen UK Border Force you'll see how many immigrates take all of the jobs without an actual work permit because they'll work for little money. Also, somehow I find your last statement hard to believe when most places won't hire graduates until they have completed their exams. The thing is, I'm not sure I can really explain... if a British person see a British person behaving badly they wont then think that all British people are all idiots, because they themselves are British. But say, they see an Indian or a group of Indian people behaving like that, they prejudge them and think that now all of them are like that... its unfair but its life.

Exactly! Indians/Pakistanis are the minority so it is them that are in the spotlight and will be judged. Obviously like Saurav has said, Indians/Pakistanis will judge the English by the way bad ones act but unfortunately they are the minority so what they think about the English will never really matter. And if they did have something bad to say about the English they will get told "If you don't like it go back then" etc (In a non offensive way btw).
