To an extent yes, age does matter.

I don't think it matters that much really, I'm 13 and I'd go out with someone up to 16 but I don't think I'd go out with anyone younger than me.

Yes but i don't think a 16 year old should be dating a 13 year old. The maturity gap is too big,

I dunno, everyone in my year is 14/15 so I'm a bit younger than everyone else so I'd really only be going out with someone 1-2 years above me in school. Girls are way more mature than guys anyway lol.

To me it's an in betweener, for example

If a 13 year old was dating an 18 year old, I would see that as completely wrong, the age gap is too large for such a young age, and the 18 year old will be more mature.

Where as if a 19 year old was dating a 24 year old, I'd see that as completely fine, because they should both be mature enough, and it just seems...right? Like they're both adults, making their own choices. But with the 13 year old, she wouldn't know what she truly wanted, if you understand what I mean?

But for me as a person, I'd only date someone 1 year older than me, anymore and I'd feel weird, I can't explain it, I'd just feel uncomfortable to be going out with the person.
