    a lot always annoys me. i don't fall foul to any of them on a regular basis but when i'm typing i might do you're instead of your or something but i'd never ever do it when i'm writing irl

    Yeah I always type things wrong if I'm not paying attention but it's not like I don't understand them nor would I do it when writing or typing something important.

    ... yes? Its the same thing, really. And we call it the Union Jack.

    So that's probably why I'm confused. It could be the Union Flag in the UK, and the Union Jack at Sea and on colony flags?

    'Definitely' is the only one I always get wrong. I spell it definately because I sound it out in my head as deaf-ine-a-telly. owell.

    Anyone got any tips for they're, their and there?

    (I assume you meant there not when)

    They're means 'they are'. "They're going to the park".

    Their means 'belonging to them'. "Their clothes were stolen while they were swimming in the fountain"

    There is a location. "They found the clothes there, by the playground"
