Does age matter?

Yeah, erm... i'm 13 & my bf is 17. :L ( im coming 14 okay?! ) but yeah. it sounds wrong, but doesn't feel it. and we have PLENTY to talk about. :S we barely ever find awkward conversations with nothing to talk about. So, yeah. It does just depend on the person as me & him have been dating for 7 and a half months. :S still as happy & lively as ever.

Ok, you love him fair enough. But when he comes 18, your still not legal and anything could happen. Unless you want him frowned upon the sex offenders list, i'd do something about it. Yeah sure, age doesn't matter to me, but it realllllly does when it's someone whos an adult (18+) and someone younger than that. Whether they have matured to make themselves act like a 15yr old or what not, that makes no difference.

Fair enough, but we're safe. It's my life. Yes, we love eachother. My mum doesn't even mind. She actually adores him. o.o So what more would i need? i'm actually also the happiest i have ever been. So yeah. One of the nicest people ever. (he goes on this forum) But tbh, what else could i do about it? I won't dump him. You don't find many guys like him. But, we wouldn't do anything. Contrary to the age difference, i am mature enough to know what i'm doing. :S

Like I said, obviously you do love him and if he loves you fair enough. And i'm not saying he would but some guys take advantage of girls, especially is they are younger, so basically im saying anything could happen, and you cant deny it as anything is possible. Sure your mum doesnt mind, fair do's. But I still don't think it is right. The amount of stories i've heard about older guys, 18+ and youger girls 16- who have sexual intercorse and then get put onto the sex offenders list or what not.. then the guy comes out with the quote 'she was the biggest mistake of my life' I'm not saying you shouldnt date him. If you want to then fair enough, it is your life, take control of it how you please. I just don't think it's right, even if you think you are mature enough to handle it.

Yeah, i know that you mean. Anything can happen in life. That's where trust comes into relationships. Fair enough, yeah. he could. But srsly, if you knew him ahaaa. He just isn't that type of person. :S But just 'cause it happens to alot of others, that's just typical guys for you really, but as i said. he's different. I know alot of other boys who are complete *****s and would take pure advantage of girls. But, this is different (i know, how many times have you heard that before? buh i mean it) and if anything does happen, i'll learn from it. It's my fall. Everyone makes a mistake at SOME point in their life, it's just the way of life.

Okay, fair do's. I've stated my opinion, so I won't bother arguing and what not. But yes, I have heard loads of gals say 'yeah but he's different' and then they find out.. he aint none of the kind. Just be careful what you do, anythings possible when your in a position you are. Just don't let him take advantage, even if you feel positive he won't, just keep it on target, there's always possiblities.

Alright. I do know where you are coming from. It isn't the SAFEST relationship ever. But for now, i'm happy, he's happy. So, age doesn't really matter to me. besides, i wouldn't let any boy do that. i'd use my super cool kung-fu moves on him
