Not really. Never been particularly 'close' to my Dad, though I have always had the banter with him about football etc. I know he cares, he just isn't the type of person who shows love easily. Now he doesn't live with us anymore, so don't see him, do text him a bit though. My mum, who I live with, I have my ups and downs about. I know she does her best, but I question her state of mind and whether she thinks things through sometimes. When we clash, it's bad because our views and personalities are poles apart. So yeah, doesn't sound great when you put it like that actually.. haha. But it's taught me to be more independent recently, and for that I guess i'm thankful.

It doesn't sound like the ideal life, but my mom eventually became a broker and she had a lot more free time because she had a lot of people working for her (eventually I became one of them). My mom provided a great life for us, just like she promised.. call me a mama's boy, I don't care, I have a lot of respect for my mother.
