Is that why football has took off all round the world and is the most popular sport in the world while American football, well.. isn't? :S
That just shows we have money lol.

And those saying that soccer is more popular around the world, yeah thats true, cant fight the facts. BUT, how come whenever the NFL has one game over in England, the place is packed and sold out.. hmmm maybe because its a good sport.

ALL I'm saying, is that you guys play the sport way more, and care about it way more, and we're JUST as good as you guys at it. Kinda sad tbh.

We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

We got 50million to choose from compared to 307million, I'd say we're not doing too bad. I'll concede that England have played horrifically this World Cup so far (at least next to what we know our players can do) but that seems to be a problem with them working together as the team they've got - it's pretty basic to see that we actually have far better players by looking at the teams they play for. You admit that you don't watch football, so how you can formulate any sort of opinion other than by looking at the scorelines of the games played so far this tournament is beyond me.

You also seem to be forgetting that the US players are still professional footballers - I highly doubt that they care less or play less than the England team. A larger following doesn't have any impact on a player's skills lol.

On the NFL point, you said it well enough yourself: one game.

I know, it is what they are popular for in sports. Everyone has heard of the premier league, or know at least one team (man u, arsenal, liverpool, chelsea etc).. They seem to get a bit touchy when they lose in a soccer game tbh. or very defensive anywa

So after 1 game drawing with us, you think you're just as good as us at football? Right... again you have no clue at all.

As for your point about NFL, there are more than 80,000 NFL fans in England yes probably, and as they come once every few months/year then it's bound to be popular for that one game. Jesus, all of your points are really stupid.

You need professional help if you think that's true.

No... it shows the US has a much higher population and there is obviously more of a following than you realise. Your claim that NFL is superior to football is based on the fact one match a year in the UK sells out? May I divert your attention to Anfield, The Emirates, Old Trafford and every other Premier League stadium. These places sell out week after week for a whole season. As for playing more than you, that is quite frankly just an embarrassing statement. There are football leagues in America you know? And even some of your squad are Premier League players. Everyone trains as much as the next team when it comes to the World Cup my friend.

This. By definition the USA should have a vastly superior side than England purely because you have millions upon millions of people to select your 23 players from. Yet you can't even get more than a draw when we are far from on form and even then back home you believe you have actually *won* the game and act as if you've won the bloody World Cup! It's actually embarrassing.

Uhm, all of you that think im crazy for thinking that USA is just as good as England, if were not, than how did we TIE you guys. A tie. 1-1 final score. Both teams have the same amount. Numbers dont lie, if youre as good as you think you are than you would've beat us, but you tied. We're equal. Just as good.
