Perhaps they can do it and Grig does it considering hes one of the most professional, and oldest DJs and also the asst. news manager
Grig has just started a new weekly show which is basically a news show as it is very time consuming the do the news updates and it is really good. Think it is sunday at 3pm.

Keri does a great job in playing variety but other DJs manage to as well, it is really hard in primetime I know I have started with a pre-made queue of songs to play that include old ones and different genres but then once you start going through requests and adding them in it is very difficult to maintain that mix. I think that chart music is always going to be the most played on HabboxLive just because it is what people hear most of and that is impossible to avoid however with the feedback given to DJs in the next week or so hopefully the variety in songs that are played is going to be monitored so that hopefully things can improve.

If you tune in at off peak times you will probably notice more variety because there are less listeners and requests so the DJ won't feel that they have to play all chart music and often the mix is better and much more enjoyable.

Oh, never realised Grig does that, may tune in sometime.

And I guess it is hard to play variety with requests and that, but maybe you should try and get a system where it shows the last songs played during the last two shows and the DJ has to search to see if it was played and if so they can't play it or something?

Again problem with this is if you dont play requests, people have a scranny and **** off, we're supposed to keep them interested but when people complain that there bored of a ******* song, they need to listen its much easier listening to someone dj rather then djing yourself

as for the thing regarding last 2 hours, its not do-able i dont think, the SC Admin goes back an hour thats about it.

The shoutcast thingy here goes back the last 20 songs, I can manually edit it to show more/less and I did change it from 10 to 20 because then DJs can usually check back on the last show. I know a few do check and maybe some aren't aware so if that was encouraged more we could tell DJs to avoid playing any song twice and I know a few don't play the same artist as a last DJ played. I know it is really annoying when a DJ plays a song near the end of their show and then on the next show a DJ plays the same song near the start.
