I think it's just the sort of people that Habbo attracts. It's a very open ended sims like game and it's focus is on collecting furniture and dressing up etc, even if they didn't know it at the time I think this is more likely to attract gay people than straight people. What annoys me is when people say they think people on this forum are pretending to be gay to be cool. Sorry but since when has liking the same sex as you been super cool, have I missed something? I mean I'm sure there are maybe one or two people who are pretending just for the sake of it but let's be honest, these people are in a minority. Homo people are more likely to be camp online because they are in a more comfortable and safe environment. I mean you'd be stupid to walk into a city centre dressed in pink talking about Homosexuality wouldn't you?.

Not to mention that I don't trust the results of the poll, people who aren't straight are going to be more interested in it and more likely to click on it in my opinion. Nonetheless the gay population of this forum is abnormally high.

    Just my two cents

for one, being gay isn't wrong. and besides, the children that are gay are gunna feel well **** when it comes to realising that they are and having to tell them, because they've been told it's wrong all thier life.

i don't expect anyone over the age of 60 to have the opinion that gays shouldn't be on television.
that's just like 'i don't mind it unless i have to see it'. why? i bet you don't give a **** who you're kissing a girl in front of?
gay people don't kick off about that because they're not *****.

if you're making something like a soap & you're trying to be somewhat realistic, then there's going to be gay people in it.
and if you're talking about presenters & comedians, they still worked there way to the top like everyone else.
and know how they got there? because people like them, and not everyone's as much of a *REMOVED* as you.

god, you've annoyed me you *REMOVED*

Why are you having a hissy fit? I haven't said anything at all to purposely offend anyone so I apologise if you are in some way offended... Just out of interest, are you gay?

If parents bring up a child saying that same sex love is fine, the child is going to be more happy to try it out and experiment with themselves whether they like men or woman more, don't forget this is during puberty - a very dangerous time with all the hormones and confusion considering decisions they make now could effect them for their whole life. If however the child knows that men aren't suppose to love men or woman aren't supposed to love woman then the chances of them turning out gay is going to be a lot smaller. I have heard of many cases were teenagers have been too scared to tell their parents that they think they are gay but when they got older and have passed through puberty they realised that they were just confused and not actually gay, the fear of coming out saved them in the end once they had got settled down.

And about me caring who see's me when I kiss girls in public, why should I need to care? You can't compare a male and a female kissing to 2 men kissing, the 2 men are obviously going to stand out more and get frowned upon by members of the public. The percentage of gay people hasn't risen over the years for no reason, it wasn't so long ago when there were hardly no gay people. You can tell me that they were scared to come out but in my opinion I just think that the reason there weren't nearly as many gay people is because nobody had really ever thought about it. The percentage has only started going up since people promoted it and it is becoming more and more common in everyday life, it makes people start to think it is ok when that is far from the point. After all, God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

That quote is from a televangelist called Jerry Falwell, are you a Christian Fundamentalist?

No not at all, I heard that saying quite a while ago but I like to use it because I think it carries a lot of truth behind it. Is Jerry Falwell one of them people who have them God channels on TV were it is basically a man speaking about a load of Holy nonsense to a group of people in church? Them programmes are sooo boring.

Yeah, he founded a group in America called the Moral Majority and is what is known as a Christian Fundamentalist - he preaches that Christ will return and if you haven't converted by the time he does then you will suffer the punishment he gives you, gays are wrong, abortions are wrong etc - all the really serious religious stuff.

I'd just never seen anyone use the quote in a context like that before when they weren't talking from a religious stance.

I don't think 40% of the HabboxForum is gay to be honest, that poll isn't too representative. Either way I don't care, anybody's welcome here

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions so fair enough. But to be honest even though you say that I'm chatting a load of bull, I think that I have said something that you know is true which you don't like, why else would you be getting so angry, especially considering you are supposedly not even gay?

How am I making you angry?

I'm confused now, nobody else who has posted seems to be angry at all and I have read over all my posts twice before posting to make sure they don't come over as targeting or trying to offend gay people so I don't understand what's up with you. Don't be so shocked that you have found someone with a different view on sexuality to you.
