    You can get broadband that runs through a phone line, don't have to be coaxial I don't think

    lol dial up means it uses your telephone cable. It renders your phone useless as its as if its being used. He'll be on broadband if he can use his phone, which i bet he can.

    Yep, it's definitely broadband! We have registered our interest in BT Infinity on their website so we will see what they say when they get back to us.

    Not at all, were he is it maybe **** but here i am in the countryside and get 4mb while it isent brilliant its certainly not bad. Some people can easily get 8 and i think even 10 on it.
