Got 287 friends on Facebook, and I've spoke to them all in real life - Three were friends from online but seeing as I've met them in real now I can count them like any other friend.

I've loosened up a bit in recent months as I wanted more friends on Facebook so I added people I hadn't spoken to for a while or didn't talk to much but it's not like I'm accepting randomers or anything.

I used to have some sort of a policy when it came to Facebook friends that if I wouldn't say hello to them on the street then they're not worth adding but tbh there's a few people I wouldn't bother with these days.

I have 4,500 contacts on Facebook. I know about 500 personally and the rest are all somehow film-related, so I only accept people (I never request anyone) who have a large amount of mutual friends with me. But now I've had to get Facebook to cap me so when people friend request me, a message pops up taht says they have to know me, else they'll be banned from ever requesting me again and get in trouble with Facebook or something. Still, most people on my list are very cool and kick up good conversations on my status feeds when I'm promotin Screenjabber content and the like. The only downside is when people lobby me for jobs - they get deleted then.

i have 133 friends, mainly because i have no old school friends on there anymore which dropped like 300? but i know everyone on my list cept like 3/4?

To be honest, having that many facebook friends is quite tame compared to some of the older social networks like myspace and bebo. People used to have friends on the for the sake of having friends, people have thousands and thousands of randomers, no talk, ever. With Facebook I have 300 of friends and people I know, not randomers. I might like some more than other, may have only seen a few the once and then they've added me but it's all people I know, or know me.

As long as they're not complete randomers (asian girls normally for guys, and turkish people for girls) then I see no real problem with have people you don't know too well. It's a good way to keep in touch with those you may not originally wanted to.

I have 800, of which I know around half, most of the rest are friends of friends or people around my area, around 40 randoms. ><

I have nobody who I don't know anything about. I never accept random requests or people like my mums friends and teachers. Admittedly I probably have about 40 online people though. I have 350ish friends on there.

I have about 90 or so friends on Facebook, a few of those are from online but most are irl friends. I only really add people I speak to regularly or old friends that I want to spy on, lol.

They minus repped you because you have 4,000+ friends? Interesting... I'm sure there are more important things in life, especially when you can easily prove it. Infact, you could and get your -rep removed, as well as mock them

i have 555 friends on fbook.
know them all bar 3 from online & maybe 20 at the most that i haven't met but are friends of friends.
i only accept people i know anyway......
but i have people years younger, years older, from different colleges & different schools.

everyone talks to everyone round the towns here even if we don't personally hang out so w/e

I have 400 friends, 30 of which I've met online through YouTube, Habbo and stuff. The rest I know. I get 5-10 new requests daily cause I post videos and stuff, decline 'em all.
