Social networking - 'Friends'

I have about 20/30 that are from online.
One person I do not know, he's called Tom and the reason I kept him on is I did something for him on bebo years ago, and on facebook he has my ex best friend from infants who moved away, and also my cousin, even though each live in different counties I still kept him on.

I then have old high school friends, some who have gone to a different college than me, some who haven't.
I then have new college friends, I also have some people from my sisters year also.


If they had a weird name, or something of the sort, I wouldn't add them as a fear of a virus, or a paedo.

I only add people I would talk to in real life. I know most people, but I don't talk to them and that's how it will remain online.

I have about 470 friends and i know about 380 of them, i added alot for mafia wars but i was careful to create 2 lists and put all those into a list what cannot see anything from me

I only add people I know on fb. Some people from my school have 1,000+ friends I think they are simply trying to look popular

I have 234 people on my friend list.
probably around five of them i don't know personally, but they have over 100 friends so I add/accept them.
I think personally it's quite sad how people have over like 1000 friends.

Everyone I have on my facebook I know one way or another, whether it's just I met them on a night out through friends or if they went to one of my old schools.

I don't add people I don't know at all.

I know everyone on my facebook, think i have 3 online, rest are either from primary/secondary school/college or ive met through other friends. No one i dont know at all. Got 187 friends.

i got near enough 500 and i know them all, theres about 4 from online that i haven't met, and have been speaking to for years.
the rest are from school, college, uni, dance schools, etc etc.
