You obviously have no idea what the bid was and have no input other than "omg give it to England we play football lots", as proved by the fact you seem to think that 1) Spain actually had a better bid than Russia and 2) Qatar are somehow actually involved when they were bidding for a completely separate competition

Well let's be honest, its all about making money for the corrupt FIFA and obviously Russia is offering the best returns on investment

The English bid was actually shown as the best economically and with the biggest returns to FIFA by quite some amount, but frankly all corruption aside (lol@them trying to say they won't give us the actual results before they realised they'd all be assassinated by the media if they went along with that) I think having it in Russia is going to do the most for football as a whole - 14 new stadiums of a high quality in Eastern Europe means the expansion of football in that part of the world, which is important considering the number of up-and-coming players and teams from that side of the continent. Obviously I'd have preferred to have it in England but I can't fault the overall decision however shocking the process was

Russia shouldn't have won - their PM didn't even bother going. But as I said, Dear old Roman Abramovich probably had some nice input.

I think that PM's have more important things to do in all fairness, unlike David Cameron. Just because you brought some famous names along, doesnt mean England should win. You had your chance in your previous World Cup, now let another country have a go.

I would have loved Spain/Portugal to get it, although England would have been quality (even easier for me to go and see).. but Russia? All they are good for is cold wars.

At the person saying at least Russia will have 14 new stadiums and England wouldnt do, then i do think yeh some nice new stadiums but England dont need to do much to our stadiums are most of them are already up to brilliant standards.
