And by that I meant post counts, not the people themselves. Stop bending what I say.If I remember rightly it wasn't just feedback from Immenseman but Immenseman befriended a group of newer users and asked about their first experiences of Habbox Forum, these users posted within the feedback thread and I agreed with what they were saying, they raised valid points and we listened.
Ayd's proved exactly why we removed "Bronze" because look what he said "isn't anything amazing" and then how "gold should give you respect" - why on earth new members arent entitled to respect I am absolutely baffled.
One for the road.
I agree that it feels a bit odd starting off at gold.
I remember when i first joined and saw i had 'gold membership', i thought it was an error or a glitch. It would make more sense in my opinion to not start at gold but at the end of the day it doesn't bother me too much.

Did I say that? Then the whole user rank system should go.
One for the road.
Was that supposed to make someone laugh, Oli?

I think we all know someone who has been on the forum for five years is going to, in general, be listened to more than someone who has joined yesterday.
Anyone who denies that concept is an imbecile.
I think we should refer to runescape for this one (bronze, silver, gold, sapphire, emerald, ruby, diamond, plat, hxf god) you know![]()

Well it is not dumb, Dom. Gold is more prestigious to members however you look at it and basically the small limits of the bronze and silver avatar were scrapped. The whole user systema was looked at and these user ranks were introduced - it benefited all the members. That bit doesn't make sense. Users have ALWAYS been given more privileges the more they post. Changing the colours was not needed, and was just like every other bit of feedback by Immense at the time. Absolutely everything was about 'making new users feel better and more confident.' Which was a dumb argument from the start.

I cannot understand why you are both suddenly complaining about this after all these months.
Perhaps you would like to suggest an alternative that would make sense and avoid members privileges they have enjoyed for months being withdrawn? Please don't say 'change the colour' unless you can think of one positive thing to support that.
Yeah nice to see you're taking our views seriously. You shouldn't be so opinionated.
And the reason I'm complaining now is because I felt like it.
One for the road.
I disagree completely. I've met plenty of idiotic old-school members (several of whom have left). I have also met quite a few very mature new members. If someone has been making good contributions over five years, then I am going to listen to them more often than someone that has made one good post, yes. However the only time I ever use join date is when they make a comment on how Habbox is run, because then it is valid (assuming that the account does not belong to a returning user). Otherwise, I judge their point based on the logic they use and the validity of the points they make.
What a novel concept.
