all i'm going to say is, i can come across completely sober to other people and i still won't remember things. even after a couple of pints, i'm not drunk but the next day i can't remember everything. my memory is ******* awful usually, but when i'm drunk it's even worse!

but i've never done anything ridiculously stupid... there is always time though.

I find it really hard to remember stuff, even if I'm not overly drunk oh never read bens post yeah that's exactly what I'm like

but on the outside I can control myself... well I never fall people never know if I'm drunk or not until I actually talk but sometimes your body can react different to the quantity you drink especially with girls... most people I no use it as an excuse in a jokey way but lol Richie I've experienced your drunk dials you're in no. position to preach

More and more often I find myself forgetting myself almost entire evenings. When I used to get drunk I used to remember it all but since about October I'm nothing short of useless, and it's really quite depressing waking up with no idea what's gone on.

Just two weeks back I was at a party and got a number of Facebook adds the next day, I didn't realise they were even at the party and apparently I'd sat with them for 30 mins and hosted a drinking game lol. I've also got on buses and had people "know me" but I've 0 recollection of meeting them (fairly embarrassing). There's also things such as asking out my ex but I don't remember doing this

2 Litres of Vodka is an almost unimaginable amount of alcohol though, it seems like you were very lucky not to have ended up in hospital. I think it's fair enough to blame alcohol as long as you blame yourself for drinking it

I think you are 100% right. Lets just cut to the chase! If cola got you drunk people would be drinking it to get drunk not just for thirst but people drink alcohol because it gets them drunk and relaxes them. When you think about it on a normal day if you feel thirsty you wouldn't go to your fridge and be like Oh I'm thirsty lets have some vodka it's more like oh I'm thirsty lets have some juice ect. I also find it disgusting that the amount of young people that drink alcohol under age, They act all hard.. It doesn't make them any better than someone who doesn't? Whats the point in getting drunk ?? A lot of people say it's because it's a good laugh for them and their mates well tbh.. It's another way of saying that your no fun and you need alcohol to help you. It's pathetic!

I pretty much get gutted Thursday, Friday/Saturday (I usually try to limit it to 2 nights a week). I can pretty much remember everything I do, although I do need to be reminded of stuff the next day, but it usually comes back to me. I'm usually a pretty good drunk, my mind is pretty loose but I don't get violent or mean. I have had nights that I've gotten so wasted that I've blacked out, thrown-up in my sleep, thrown up in the bar, pissed in peoples closets (nobody ever found out it was me) and hooked-up with and brought home absolute MONGS. I learn from my mistakes so I don't drink on an empty stomach, I limit my tequila intake (makes me go NUTS) and I am off vodka for a while ever since my night I drank the 40.. oops

I don't blame my behavior on the alcohol, I know how alcohol effects me and if I didn't want to act the way I do when I'm drunk.. I wouldn't drink so for somebody to blame their behavior on alcohol time after time isn't right, if you can't handle it.. DON'T DRINK IT
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

An excuse for what? Forgetting things?

It effects people differently, I my self can remember some stuff but not everything.
There was this one time that I was out at a pub with friends and I remember kissing this girl but I never rememberd her drawing a heart on my hand. I woke up the next morning wondering where the hell it had come from and who did it! Found out two days later lol.

But if youre on about using alcohol as an excuse for cheating or something then its a really lame excuse everybody at that moment in time knows what they are doing, they may not remember it the next day but they know. So in that sense of it being a **** excuse, yes it is.

not everyone suffers from memory loss..... it doesnt matter how drunk ive been ive always remembered everything ive done with the exception of 2 occassions. Once when i was 17 and was my second time drunk where i actually just pretty much fell asleep in the corner of a club, and the second time was only last weekend and im 19 now. Every other time ive remembered everything so it just depends really. Some people get it some people dont :I the only reason why i think i have patchy memory for that night is because i only had a tiny little thing to eat the same day for lunch and thats it, so nothing to soak up the alcohol. it really just depends on the type of person you are and how much the alcohol effects you

I rarely get very drunk but all of the four occasions where I've been incredibly drunk I struggle to remember things. I'm generally ok when people remind me of things I've done, but when it comes to people I've met and especially things I've said I just can't remember anything.

And ok the main thing I do when I drink is DANCE and I blame that on the a-a-a-alcohol ok.

A kid at my school in 6th form died from alcohol poisoning after 2 litres of Vodka.

Anyway, yeah it's because it changes how you think.
