When you post videos, they are larger than the warning. So the first thing any member will see is the actual video and will most likely just go and click it regardless. If videos or other such content is posted under a spoiler and a warning added, they will not see the video first but the warning and the spoiler which makes it needed to be done.
The rule is also:
Mildly inappropriate content (never anything rated 18+) is allowed where sufficient warning is added into the post and the image or link is placed within a spoiler.
So it's not just youtube videos, it goes for images and links. We won't be getting rid of the spoiler but we will make it easier for you not to forget to add it with the suggestion a few of the members posted in one of the recent feedback threads.
