This is getting old now, Richard. We are adding the automatic spoiler feature, and your avoiding the filter usernote (again not infraction or warning) has been reversed. Be happy with that.

We will not be changing the filter or allowing videos without adequate warning, period.

I'm pretty sure I have good reason to complain if I have been wrongly sent a usernote on three occasions in the last week. The funny thing is I haven't seen one person take managements side in any of these threads, so I'm assuming they're on the other ship. Oh and David I think you're missing a point. No-one has said they want to abolish the warnings they are arguing that the spoiler is pointless. I'm all for the warning above videos I'm just not for putting videos in spoilers.

As far as I can see Richie all your complaints have been addressed here and sorted. Looks like the spoiler issue is sorted too. Why not just wait and see what happens from now on and come back if you feel there is still a problem?

They may have been addressed but not sorted. Matt hasn't got any relevant reasons to continue making us use the spoiler for videos that contains swearing yet he insists it still gets used.

Well that is his prerogative as GM and you actually suggested the tick box! Is it really that much of a big deal when all things are considered, Richie? Life is not always fair. What has come out of this is an excellent idea from you which will be implemented and save the mod department time and trouble and help the members.

Making terrible decisions that are meaningless and the majority of the users disagree with? No-one is saying allow swearing and if an image contains inappropriate content, put it in a spoiler. I don't agree with how he wants us to put the video in a spoiler when it clearly makes no sense and gomme makes a good point, if the bold red text doesn't stand out for video warnings what makes you think it stands out for moderator edits?

Well I don't think his decision is terrible but we are all entitled to our views I guess. I just think the point has been well made and considered.

I really don't see why this is needed - it is a spoiler, get over it. Habbox doesn't want to set a bad example, or give parents ANY reason to contact Hx (I believe some parents have in the past according to previous members of management/Jin).

Also, perhaps users don't report posts just because they are '****s' - perhaps they realise it is against the forum rules, and while it is against the forum rules the post can and probably should be reported.

Majority of what I saw through out this thread was users complaining and staff defending... problems, I think so!

lol, this is indeed the case. There has been various studies on this actually, but the one which comes straight to my head is the one which Derren Brown performed and televised. Absolutely brilliant.
