Not being funny but I dont really agree with the idea, as Mark said it would block out the moderators job and it would cause a lot of havoc.

But what I also dont get is you say you dont support your idea yet you still post it. You say you support it because of the reasons you said but you haven't stated any..? :s

wow for the millionth time i do support it but i also don't it would cause a lot of chaos, but i think the person who created the thread should be in control of it, he/she should be able to delete posts that people have made in his/her thread thats all. I mean loads of people ruin stuff on threads on habbox and mods aren't ALWAYS there...

People being able to delete replies to their threads would cause a lot of problems, in my opinion. For example, someone posts something for feedback and deletes any replies which they are not happy with, eg negative feedback. It's nice of you to suggest an idea but unfortunately, I do not support it .

Whether mods aren't there by the second a post has been made or not, it would be sorted out very soon after so i just see this idea being a big amount of impatience in some ways.

well obviously they maybe can't delete posts on feedback or complaints lol, they'd just delete all negative true comments.

The problem could still exist in other forums as well though. I suppose what I'm trying to say, is that the feature would be used for the wrong reasons and in itself, this would required more moderation in terms of who's deleting what and whether they are abusing the power they have. Even moderators aren't supposed to 'delete' anything, and therefore I don't think it's a power that everyone should be given, whether it's their thread or not.

Well this could be said of every thread on the forum . Sorry but I don't support that idea and reported posts are rarely left for long and it could also be used for bullying/targeting etc.
