when i was at uni, i watched quite a bit of live tv in the second term, when you can't go out because of essays, having tv is quite a welcome distraction. and yeah she would. How much TV do you watch live then?
I asked this for my sister, and I know she barely watches live tv. Just sky player, iplayer and stuff like that.
Out of interest, if she were to watch Sky Player and watch a live football match (on Sky Sports), would she then require a tv license?
Technically yes but not really. If she is using a laptop and has not plugged it in, then technically she is covered by the parent's/normally resident TV license. It's all very confusing, I decided it would be safest just to get it since I watch quite a bit of TV.How much TV do you watch live then?

Way i see it you only pay it for bbc channels. GET RID OF BBC!
Privatising everything else turned about to be a bad idea in many places. Having said that, I cannot see how a privatised BBC would cause problems lol
And I will not watch a one hour program live if I have to watch adverts.
I'm just taking my iPad and buying Sky player for live football, win/win situation!
