Out of interest, if she were to watch Sky Player and watch a live football match (on Sky Sports), would she then require a tv license?
when i was at uni, i watched quite a bit of live tv in the second term, when you can't go out because of essays, having tv is quite a welcome distraction. and yeah she would.

Technically yes but not really. If she is using a laptop and has not plugged it in, then technically she is covered by the parent's/normally resident TV license. It's all very confusing, I decided it would be safest just to get it since I watch quite a bit of TV.

ADVERTS. OH MY GOD MY LIFE IS OVER.

Privatising the BBC is hardly going to ruin the world.

Privatising everything else turned about to be a bad idea in many places. Having said that, I cannot see how a privatised BBC would cause problems lol

And I will not watch a one hour program live if I have to watch adverts.

I don't think you realise how much more the BBC does other than broadcasting live TV and iPlayer.

Remember that those who want it privatised on here don't understand the subject anyway.

Certainly come across that way anyway
