Possibly, once the funeral is over it will be business as usual (as harsh as it sounds). At the moment it seems quiet, but a bad idea for releasing anything. When the funeral date is set the run up to the funeral, and a few days after, will see Steve Jobs related news overshadowing virtually anything in tech news.

He has truly been an inspiring yet a genius man I have ever known in my generation.
His creativity of Apple has shocked the world and I hope he may be in a better place right now.
R U MY MUMMY??????????????
formerly a smith enthusiast.............. currently an asswipe
Apparently the funeral is this Friday (14th) and will be a small, private affair for his family. Apple may be holding a seperate event to celebrate his life. It's very confusing as the news came out Saturday at some point, and it seemed like it happened last Friday with the time differences.

Can't believe he has diedRIP Steve! xx
thanking him for making me a lovely reliable phone this afternoon when bb users are struggling, cheerrsss steve xoxox
I'm sorry, but I've owned three different iPods; Apple and 'reliable' do not go together in the same sentence. Apparently their products only work until your one year warranty expires, then they expect you to spend another three hundred dollars.
4S- Perfect example. Typical Apple marketing of "you have the best of the best, but you have to pay to keep up with it. Anything more than a year old is no longer supported, get with the picture and give us more money."
The sad thing is that Apple fanboys support this marketing scheme, and will dish out as much money as they can to Apple to feel 'cool.'
Apple forces you into one product, and charges a premium for every single transaction you place on the device. (/socialism? /monopoly? Wouldn't question it if Apple was not the most valuable brand in the world, for doing nothing than producing a single phone and a few music players) Android allows other companies to produce hardware, and allows root capabilities with its phones. I guess people prefer to do what they are told rather than use their products to the best of their abilities.
PS - Multitasking; We can kind of do it. New concept, right? Oh, wait...
