It's why the actual article is under "Cable" on their site. The article can be found at: https://my.virginmedia.com/customer-...edupgrade.html

Plus the max like Tom said earlier is probably around 20Mb for anyone on ADSL or "National" as Virgin Media call it.
    Oh, god knows then.

I just sent the moderator I am friendly with on the forums a message about the upgraded speeds, I shall post the reply here when he tells me.
see if he can explain it any better

    EDIT:

If you are unsure of if you are Cable or National, Try to get onto the National Status page, It will tell you:

It looks like you've tried to access a National page from a Cable account.

Click here to visit the Virgin Media homepage.
Looks like I am getting the upgrade, Woooo.

    Further Edit:

    Check your postcode HERE:

Add it to the main post, Would be handy

Didn't you know if you was on cable or national? You could of easily found that out or even ask your parents about it. Anyone on cable will get the upgrade!

That's nice for everyone on virgin, but I still sit here on my crappy 1.2mb download and 0.4 upload whilst who is literally a next door neighbour can go and go and get decent speeds.

Just a thought, if 100 is only going to 120 that must mean it'll drop price at the same time?

If they can't manage 200MB down then surely they could get 20MB up.
