yeah most of the staff excluding senior plus are between 13 - 15 from what ive noticedIndeed, I didn't suggest it was the whole of the two departments hating each otherJust with more staff in those departments, there's more chance of trouble brewing
Plus the two departments are pretty similar, events providing entertainment within the game, and HxL providing entertainment outside of the game. The two could be seen to be in competition with each other really.
Plus, just another assumption, but it's fairly clear to say that these two departments would have the youngest staff members in general.
HxL had periods when there was no drama, but this was a long long time ago. It can work, but needs a number of factors to do so.
Nowadays, it's always something to do with HxL and staff drama and what I used to do was just come down on it like a pile of bricks, because that's simply not cool and hampers the department.
This is why I love the content based departments- nice and peaceful!

Actually we haven't had any serious drama issues since Christmas really up until this month.HxL had periods when there was no drama, but this was a long long time ago. It can work, but needs a number of factors to do so.

I think the issue is you have 45 staff members, not everyone's going to like everyone and it can cause a lot of conflict as opposed to departments that are smaller in size. I made it perfectly clear months ago that people need to just get on and be civil with one another and the majority of the time it is fine just sometimes little issues can arise and these dramas do occur. You just sort it out and move on for a couple of months before the next one comes up. With a department this large it is bound to occur, we just hope it doesn't.
“You don’t forget the face of the person who was your last hope.”
I think as long as managers tackle the issues efficiently, and that these issues stay behind closed doors (e.g: aren't broadcast on air etc.) then there's not much that can be changed, unless you want to fire people on the basis of being immature, which isn't the way forward really.
Haven't read many posts besides the original but I agree rather strongly with events, not too sure about HxL don't pay much attention. There seems to be a fair few EOs (and Ex-EOs now) going at each other's throats in events which doesn't really look good for the community
Not that HFFM/TH events are definitely better, it's usually the users going at each other's throats from what I've seen in those events but I won't generalise.

actually, events management have noticed and they are doing something about it - so saying that they're 'not trying' is not quite truethere isn't really much you can do, i'd definitely agree that events and hxl have the youngest staff members and you can expect a few rows here and there. not EVERYONE is going to get along - but hopefully this will be sorted out soon

i used to put the names of my favourite singers here... then i realised nobody cared
You've replied to the threads in the events staff forum relating to these issues so unless you were closing your eyes, or not paying attention to them then I'm confused. Also there have recently been various warnings issued to certain staff relating to issues within events, even some leading to dismissal.
The fact is, there have always been arguments at Habbox, even back when I was AGM community this used to happen occasionally and its not something that can be avoided really. People will naturally fall out with people, and try to cause trouble. What I've noticed personally is that the main cause is that people are acting childish about the situation rather than taking a more professional approach to things and doing things properly. If people actually bothered to follow the correct procedures and report things correctly rather than taking matters into their own hands then things would be a lot easier to resolve and this is something that is being worked on continuously.
There has also been the introduction of staff bonding which we ran every day for like 14 days to get people in the team to work with each other and try to get along- but again only the same people turned up really and even then people were moaning/causing arguments etc. We are trying but it requires effort from both sides really and its not always easy to make people 'grow up'.

I do agree that there is a lot of conflict between Events and HabboxLive (mainly, not saying it's just those) but it can't be resolved with a click of some fingers. It's up to the managers how strict they are, but these things do take time and, from what I've seen, it's not been very severe/noticeable until recently.
The 'younger generation' are all rebels now apparently, so it should be expected I guess.
