If you don't mind me asking, what made you come to the decision to now allow people to post and share their reputation comments? Surely this means -rep is no longer private and therefore it can now create a negative atmosphere. I can't see any benefits to people sharing their -rep comments but I can see the negatives already :S.

I'd also like to know why it's allowed to now show your reps, as it's so obviously going to be abused to make fun of/target people people who -repped them.

So if you -rep me i can laugh at you and post it on the forum to show you're pathetic depending on the comment you left. Seems like a decision that was made to cover the ass of someone who posted a rep comment rather than a logical decision to allow it..

Yeah was basically changed because Matt flouted it quite openly and didn't want to apologise so now we're apparently allowed to target other users for what is essentially a private message

yea Matt posted someone else's rep comments, people complained so Matt let them post their own comments despite it not being allowed like ever lol stupid move but yh, if anythin it could just stop people using the rep system and want a like system instead

Jin thinks it shouldn't even be a rule in the first place so there we go. Negative reputation was never really private if you had VIP to show who actually repped you in the first place.

Doesn't mean you could post on the forum targeting people essentially for -repping you even if you could see who -repped you.

I think posting it in a way which could cause arguments though IS breaking the rules and could be seen as targetting another forum member and not 'respecting' them at all.

And surely posting a -rep comment in the first place is just posting to cause arguments, which essentially would mean that posting rep comments is still against the rules - just through a different rule :S.
