This episode was not as bad as Fear Her. And certainly not the worst. Do you NOT remember 'Please save me from the monsters.' Night Terrors is still the worst New Who episode! Speaking of which, the trailer for next weeks looks similar to Night Terrors, so I don't have much hope for it, but everyone seems to be saying it looks awesome so I hope they're right.

I quite liked last night's episode, I laughed so much.

    • Still loving Capaldi; his one-liners, or even not-one-liners are delivered so comically even at times he's meant to be annoyed, it's brilliant. And dat accent!
    • I loved how adorable Clara was all head of heels when she first got out of the TARDIS; I also loved how she was the voice of reason when they were chained up.
    • The way the Doctor looked at the arrow in the TARDIS like "How ******* dare you!" And then it healed itself! OMG!!!
    • Also, the dramatic button falling from the jacket, again; "How ******* dare you!"
    • Spoon fight. That was alright, to be honest the bit I liked the most was when Peter went face first into the water, that was funny
    • The first scene with the Merry Men was good; especially the 'six-months' joke.
    • The Doctor being a badass at archery - and then finding out he cheated. Brilliant.
    • The banter between the Doctor and Robin when they're chained up (and throughout the episode!), even though the Doctor hates banter!
    • "I have a certain genetic advantage." "It is not a competition about who can die slower." "It definitely would be me though wouldn't it?" That mischievous twinkle in his eye.
    • "Soiled myself?" "Did you? That's getting into character!" Also brilliant
    • AND my favourite line of all; "There is a bright side... Clara didn't see that."
    • Another reference to the Promised Land; I've still not decided on my viewpoint with that one.
    • I love how protective the Doctor is over Clara, even though you'd expect this Doctor not to care so much. When Robin jumped out of the window with her and we got a "NO! Clara!" It was like... ahhhh he does still care...
    • Not sure how I feel about the gold plates as shields. In terms of it being realistic and believable I was a bit let down, but I must admit, the way they put the scene together and acted it out was good.
    • When Marion kisses the Doctor, there was too much reaction there. He doesn't really know her and she doesn't mean anything to him so why should he care?
    • There seems to be a recurring theme of the Doctor 'getting things wrong', in this case assuming Robin was one of the Sheriff's robots.
    • The ending was quite poor, but I did like how the Doctor returned Marion, just like how he returned K9 to Sarah Jane in School Reunion.
    • And all the hero-talk, poor, tortured-soul Doctor. I love him far too much!

Three episodes in and each has bored me. I'm a big DW fan but I can't get used to capaldi and the episodes seem overdone (I swear there was a robin hood/sherwood forest-type episode in a previous series and next week's looks similar to the scared boy with noises coming from his wardrobe/creepy doll house).

Yesterday's episode especially felt like it was aimed at 3 year olds, really disappointing.

It's like the dr has transformed back into the pedo grandad he was in the 60s and now the show serves only to make children laugh with pantomime jokes and dry humour. Boring predictable episodes adding nothing new to the show. Hopefully the 1 after next is a goodun
