i used to put the names of my favourite singers here... then i realised nobody cared
I did try to, but Matt and Chris adamantly refused to admit that moderation involved enforcing quality. The venture could have been avoided entirely if they weren't so stubborn.

You want the forum to return back to normal? That would happen if you didn't complain about the threads in the first place.Because I already did. Whether you admit it or not doesn't really affect me, but since quality was just enforced the point has already been conceded. What happens now is what's important, if you admit it then you get to enforce the rules as have been dictated in the FAQ and the forum returns to normality and we have some nice discussion. If you don't admit it then the forum continues like this for at least a little while until we all get bored or the forum closes from lack of active discussion.
i can't wait for monday when the children (kardan and chipwell) go back to school lol
You will also find Mike said something similar:
This is the easiest solution. It's bizarre that everyone forgets it lol.
I do not think it is the job of the moderation department to determine what threads are good or bad. It's always made no sense to me how people forget that ultimately, threads die. Threads have a limited life span so to complain about them is a waste of time. Keep posting good threads and they'll be gathering dust on page 2 before you know it.
Well you clearly ignored my post where I already explained that this was a case of the forum rules being enforced, where it says any thread that has no point will be moved to Spam.
Then it's all the more ironic that he'd be the one to complain about it.

Which is clearly enforcing quality. As I said I don't care if you recognise it or not. Your loss if you don't.
