Also to the person who started getting all protective over SAM 2, take a hike. You are operating on ancient technology with a **** 96 kb/s mono bitrate, heck some DJs even use an even lower bitrate, that makes me feel like I'm listening to some 1960s television set.

Anyway, to the point there are many more people who know how to use SAM broadcaster on the forum MUCH better than many of the DJs, so it should all be in technology anyway.
Ok. Fine. I admit I didn't read the thread properly. Seriously, Grig. You don't have to come to me and say that to me. That's considered rude. And for those DJs who use lower bitrate, it's not like they want it. Sometimes, they lag and there's no other DJ to cover. So, they just lower it down. For your information, Jess and some other DJs did a workshop on how to use SAM broadcaster and how to DJ properly. It's not a problem and for the thread thing, I still think it should be moved to technology section. There's no reason why they don't know how to use SAM Broadcaster.

I wasn't aware you talked about the bitrate on a previous post :S? To the second comment, if you can't handle 96 kb/s then get a new computer, no other fansite still uses 96, yet alone something lower. It's ridiculous.

ALSO LMAO, don't do a workshop, hire proper DJs, that's what's always been done, I never realized HxL DJ quality got that bad.

No. Don't be silly. Not that a new computer will help us to handle 96 kb/s. There are also other factors that make us lag.
About the workshop subject, don't tell me. Tell ,Jess, about that. Apparently, someone suggested HXL to do workshops so that people will know how to DJ properly and then, they will apply. HXL DJ quality got that bad? I'm not sure about that. I think it's OK so far except we have had a few stubborn DJs that don't read HXL rules and follow it.

Oh, I assumed it was for current DJs, if it was for people that wanted to DJ that's alright . Also don't tell me not to be silly I know a lot more about HxL than you. Also, yes it will, if you can't handle 96 kb/s you must have a complete **** of a net connection and your comp speed is even more ****.

I agree with you about the comp speed thing and the net connection. If we have problems with the net connection, we can't just change the computer. That won't help. The only solution left is to lower the bitrate. No other choices if there are no DJs to cover and you won't lag when you low down the bitrate.

Lowering down the bitrate is still better than leaving the radio like that

More often than not though, it's the computer speed being slow being clogged up by stuff.

Read the first 4 posts so sorry for repeating anything.

I agree with Richie. There are a lot of Ex-DJs and experienced people on the forum who can probably answer the question a lot better than most/all DJs. Not to criticise the DJs but for example, Richie is very knowledgeable about these things, whereas a new DJ may need help themselves. Just my opinion, I think anyone should be able to answer them.

Not everyone is afford to buy a new computer, Grig.. Financial issues. Tbh, it's not worth it to buy a new computer just for HXL. They can just delete stuff or format the whole computer like I did TWICE. *sigh*

    Robbie, I agree with you.
