as for volunteering here you can do volunteering such as those buckets for charity in the town centres etc or soup kitchens for homeless people, stuff like that. my gran used to do marie curie leaflets for free too. uh and there are volunteering groups to help disabled adults or kids. try volunteerscotland.org.uk lots of charity work
Link doesn't work atm but I'll check back later That type of volunteering doesn't sound too bad in all honesty.

Thank you for that advice on starting a new hobby/sport as well .

No not at all. I am constantly trying to get all and any new players trying to play my sport - hockey. I captain our 2nd team and run alot of the stuff within the club, including our website and i get emails all the time from parents wanting their kids to join and I welcome it and encourage them. I'm one of those who will automatically assume people will shy so make a special effort to make them feel welcome and get to know them personally so they feel welcome. become friends with so many of the new lot through this, and we have people of all ages joining, from ages 12-40+ haha! It's never too late

Find a hobby or get a job of some sort. Maybe volunteer at a charity shop or something just to pass the time?

have a ****.. always makes me feel better!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

Think of things you really enjoy doing and then see if you could do something productive to do with them? For example, I am a huge Harry Potter fan and overheard this girl I don't really know talking about this meetup thing so I thought I'd ask her about it and I've met like 20 people from it. Maybe this was a bad example. Don't judge me

YEAH OTHERWISE.. Just go to a gym, start jogging, whatever. Exercise makes you happy (so I've heard )

I feel exactly the same way, basically everyone in my area, that is my age, goes to the same school, so I have to hang around with certain people, not really by choice, tbh I don't really like them but without them I wouldn't have any friends around here. So I just spend all my free time inside.

Lately I've just been really discontent with my life and just want to "do something" but I'm really not sure exactly what I mean by it. I just am really sick and tired of like sitting on my bed for so many hours in the day and not going out or anything, but when I go out I don't really know what to do... I only really hang with friends during college times (we'll prob meet up 2/3 times over summer) and I'm cool with it being only a couple of times, but I really wanna do something to like improve myself? Like how people say do 1 thing every day that scares you haha.

I enjoy typing and stuff (hence why all my depts on here are content based haha) and writing a bit irl and I'd love to kinda go out and get to know more people and stuff but I don't really like my personality and I don't have enough money to just go out and join clubs and stuff argh.

Idrk if you can gather what I'm saying but I'm fed up of wasting my life doing **** all really and idrk how to improve with no money/not such great personality.
I used to think like this. Like no friends, wasting life etc.. but I don't really like having friends.. and I don't really like going out all that often. I guess I just accepted who I am - I like sitting on my computer (playing games) on my own and keeping myself to myself

You're not wasting your life if you enjoy what you're doing... and I enjoy what I'm doing do you?

I enjoy some stuff, like I wouldn't really give up the internet fully because, although it is 1 of the main reasons I had no social life, I still enjoy using it. But I don't enjoy the fact I could be out there doing more stuff, gets really irritating doing the same thing every day.
