Mods are useless

My apologies, I thought they had more than two mods on at a time?

2-3 depending on the time. MODs do 4 hour shifts and I think they have a small break, by which I mean away from habbo I think :]

4 hours, 2-3 mods and a high voume of CFHs. Boy would I hate to be a mod. I thought they had like several mods on at a time.

I dont see how it works.

They seem to NEVER reply to thiongs that ARE relevant to there job, like someone calling me a **** - YET they ALWAYS reply to things that are supposedly not relavent..

as said, 2-3 mods for 7k+ people is a lot. Not just 3 or 4 people use the CFH a day. They get flooded with LOTS of ********.

Y'know, I'd have thought being hacked and having your furni taken would be quite a high priority but whatever. Surely they should be slightly more helpfull if the PS staff are away.

It's not exactly high priority because it's the persons fault (the one being hacked) no matter what you say.
If you went on a site, your fault.
If you downloaded a keylogger, your fault.
If you have the same password for a bunch of things and someone got one, your fault.
If your password is **** enough for someone to just guess, your fault.
If the answer to your security question is easy enough to guess, your fault.
If they use the IP revert type and you were dumb enough to add someone on msn you don't know/e-mail them or whatever and basically allow them to get your IP, then its your fault.


I can tell you now that my habbo password (on chyea, even though its permed) has like 19 letters/number (its easy to remember lol) so no one is hacking me by "accident" and I'm not stupid enough to go on a sketchy site.

People really need to lay off the mods.. they are only doing their job. You don't see people who get what they want complaining saying that mods are pathetic and stuff.. and I'm sure you wouldn't. Just because you didn't get the result, of your furni being saved, doesn't mean that the mods are doing a bad job.

I was getting abused by a noob that I cleaned 40t awhile back. So he used *TEXT REMOVED* as about every word in a sentence. I never replied, just reported it. The mod said:

"If I ban him he will just go on another name and do it again, leave the room."

what's funny is I didn't avoid. saying f with stars infront is not harmful, that wouldnt get you banned on habbo so why should you get a warning here?

Why dont you just simply move your furni over to a different account?

Last time i did that in early 2006 i got perm banned, coz they claimed i was hacking..

Call for help. When i do they usually threaten to ban me unless i have an emergency the next time i call.

MODs don't issue safety bans anymore.

If you feel that your furniture is in danger, transfer it to another account. MODs have much high priority calls to deal with.

I am happy that they dont give safety bans now, that is fine, but the fact that they dont help anyway, or even give ONE suggestion (That is useful) is just taking the mick,.

They should be helpful all the time, I mean PS are never and never have managed to help me.

It's YOUR responbility to keeping your account safe.

It's MODs responbility to make sure that no online predators are looking for teenagers etc.

It does waste time.

MODs have to ban, put a ban reason, then PS have to look into all of it, find the cause, then unban... None of it is needed if people keep their accounts safe.

And no, MODs don't have any time being bored

IP Address's cant help people hack you that well, or moderators on basically every site and owner, can hack you? No. If that was the case when habbox used to have the comment system on there site, 1000's would of been hacked, because it said the ip address of the suer, along with who they are. . .

Flaming & Swearing (When swearing became un-bobba'd, I remember Helkat saying "Don't swear AT people", so I guess that went out the window).

IMO, mod response USED to be great - especially when Hobba's would come right to your room and you could have a convorsation. They used to be GREAT helps.

Even after Hobba's left, it was like "Okay, I can deal with this" but as time has gone on its gotten worse & worse.

It is awful now, when i first started habbo (early 06 late 05) It was OK. Slowly is has got worse, and if it gets any worse it will be the MOD's hacking you,..

I agree...

It's up to the user to keep his/her account safe on Habbo.
If you get hacked/scammed it's your own fault and you wont get anything back.

Anyone who says MOD's don't do anything is wrong.. YOU don't know what they actually do behind the scenes since you arn't one, so how can you comment on something you don't know the job role of?
