I don't care if you're a trialist, it's pretty darn easy to not give out answers to a quiz.

I didn't mean that part, that part is stupid and should've been dealt with. Hosting well enough to please people, controlling and moderating room and helping if need be all on your own is more than enough work.

To be fair, I don't even expect the Help Desk Manager to host a SNQ that pleases everyone.

I doubt anyone has ever hosted a SNQ (or event for that matter) that's pleased everyone it's too hard when it's competitive and people are going to lose. That's why time needs to be put into getting a nice set of questions rather than taking them off the first websites available when googling pub quiz. If you don't want to do that and still want to host I think it's still in place where you can ask for a senior to write your questions. Still won't please everyone though so just aim to please the most you can as a host..

trialists arent given rights (unless something has changeD??) so not sure why they should be allowed to host, especialy if theyre alone. frankly though from what I can tell the helpdesk is a bit more of a mess than usual so I guess theyll take whatever they can get.

questions should be written by the host, not sourced from a website. it's 20 questions, it really isnt that hard to think of some if you have half a brain cell. perhaps the incentive to host (+1hr to their helpdesk time last I knew?) needs to be increased so people are more prepared to endure the hate. I would also suggest having 2 people host it but I know it would be unreasonable to ask about 1/3 of the current team to be on at the same time.

Tbf, I found out at 5 to 7 and questioned Danny on Skype regarding it the minute I was told, he told me he hadn't and I asked him to change the questions if he had, at which point he then continued to promise he hadn't and I presumed that it was all some kind of joke. Obviously that wasn't the case and the questions weren't changed and I couldn't be at the event to make sure that whatever should have happened did. At this point in time I'm still awaiting a copy of the questions asked and what not, but I am still quite annoyed that I am still finding out, even now, that other people, not just the person in question were given the answers for this SNQ. Once I know whats going on in HxHD it will be paramount we make sure the rules in place for SNQ are actually followed, as there were quite a few things that weren't followed for the SNQ's of late.

Okay well since I guess you pretty much did all you could in that situation I'm sorry for bringing it to attention. It just confused me. Hope the right decision is made in light of this Jade.

I doubt answers were given out - Danny probably googled the questions which lead to pub quiz sites with ALL the questions and used them, so when players look up one question the rest come up - and a lot of hosts do this which is why it's important to create your own.

Yeah you could say that but at the same time, I don't think anyone would take the same 20 questions in a row unless they w3ere completely braindead. It was also said by the person who 'won' that they knew questions in advance and Jade even knew about it.

the first time i ever hosted snq it went down extremely well and i didn't have any complaints*+*+* although, i never used the websites to find questions, just wrote them all myself because it's really that easy

Yes!! I thought this in-game but everyone was making such a fuss I couldn't be bothered to try and point it out. PoisonedLies (not sure of her real name) actually answered a question (though I can't remember which one it was) before the question had been asked. I thought this was really weird but probably just a coincidence but she kept answering questions faster than everyone else, like she already knew the answers and was just c+ping them.

If she had been sent the answers/questions, that's totally unacceptable and I would be embarrassed for HxHD.

I'd never of leaked the questions anyway.
