So, we don't see a lot of variation so it doesn't seem like he has much talent to show, but I think the roles he's played he's done a good job, especially with Romeo and Gatsby. He is the best Gatsby I've seen!
Hmm I can't say I'm a massive fan of his but what about his performances in Shutter Island and particularly Django Unchained? Those are very different roles. Like I said I don't really like him and I haven't seen all of his films, but he can branch out from that kind of hopeless romantic character. Also I haven't seen The Wolf of Wall Street yet but he seems quite different in that, too.

I've never seen them. I was going only based on what I've seen. So, I may have a distorted view. But I still think he's great

Reading through, I don't actually agree with many of these.

Johnny Depp has played such a variety of roles so well that I don't know how he is considered to be overrated. He isn't one of those actors who plays each character the same, he's always keen to go that step further to make the character come to life.

Jennifer Aniston is really good. One of my favourite actresses. Back when she was in Friends, especially in later series she really stepped her game up. One thing that always stuck out for me was in the episode The One After 'I Do' and she is told she actually isn't pregnant as a trick, when she has to play being sad, but pretending she isn't sad and trying not to cry, I found that very moving. Plus, saw her in We're The Millers and she was great, I don't think she's lost her touch.

Leonardo DiCaprio I've already spoken about. I think he's great.

Others I think are more good than bad so I wouldn't say are overrated are; Keira Knightly and Helena Bonham Carter.

Also, I don't think Kristen Stewart is very highly rated so I would say she is overrated. I would say she is limited however. I think although she doesn't show a lot of emotion, I think she did well in Twilight showing that shy, social awkwardness but also being able to be angry and strong. Bella was never happy even if she did have EVERYTHING! So, I don't think Kristen did a bad job. She was also good in the Panic Room even though she was young and The Runaways was brilliant due to her and Dakota Fanning's great performances. Just my opinion.

I'll agree with Rob Pattinson and Brad Pitt though. They are both overrated.

To be totally fair the only thing I've seen Kristen Stewart in other than the Twilight films is Panic Room when she was 12 so difficult to tell what she's like as an actress since it's only really one role that I know her in. I wouldn't imagine she's so deadpan and awkward in On The Road or something but as I say, not seen them

I hope you don't think I was saying you are wrong! I was just saying that I think he can switch his roles a bit! I was going on what I've seen too, as you were. As I said I haven't seen all of his movies so I can't totally judge him but I think he can be pretty versatile. You should watch Shutter Island and Django Unchained if you are into those kinds of movies. They are very good, and Leo is good in them too!

I don't think Leonardo is overrated at all. He's successful and well known cause he always takes risks and work with good directors like Martin, Quentin and etc. He's always the leading actor in successful films over the last decade. Leonardo is a great actor and his work in Titanic is well done (even tho the movie was not my cup of tea). I've also enjoyed a lot of films he's in like Catch Me If You Can, The Departed, Blood Diamond, Shutter Island and etc, all of which have fairly different roles. He is capable of switching roles and portray his characters well and the accent that he pulled off in Blood Diamond was impressive. However, i do sometimes feel that his range is limited but i think he's at his best when he plays roles closer to himself. I haven't seen all of his films especially his earlier work (Whats Eating Gilbert Grape looks like a good one) but i think he's probably one of the best hollywood actors in this generation. I'm excited to see Wolf of Wall Street as the character seems closer to him plus he's working with Martin Scorcese (for the fifth time)

the only films i've seen Kristen in are the twilight saga, panic room and the runaways, not much so i can't tell but she has horrible facial expression tho

Not sure about Helena but i like her eccentric roles and her work with Tim Burton

and erm Adam Sandler, he is ok and it seems like he can only play goofy characters, can't see him branch into any other different roles but his movies are quite entertaining

He got a Golden Globe at the weekend so maybe, he said in his speech he can't believe he's been doing all these roles and then finally gets an award for comedy
