Runescape noob - are there rares on Runescape?

Howdy

I have some questions about Runescape. I have never played it and never really taken any notice of screenshots of it, however I want to make a script that I am making for Habbo also work for Runescape fansites.

Here are my questions:
- Are there Runescape fansites which are as popular or more popular than Habbox?
- Do they have live news and dynamic sites like Habbo Hotel fansites?
- Are there rares on Runescape which can be traded?
- If yes, do the rares have set values or do the values change like Habbo rare values?
- Who displays the rare values? Fansites or Runescape?
- If no one displays rare values, could they?

- there are fansites which are probably more popular than habbox, as they are runescape sites not habbo

- yes some of them are so rare they are worth 200million gp

- values change, the rare rares go up, expected to treble in price by the end of the year

- it changes with the economy, it is kinda the players

- they are changing so it would be difficult. the way to check the prices is go on the runescape.com official forums and look in discontiuned items to see there prices

- www.runehq.net is probably the most popular. Don't know if it's more popular than habbox though.

- Not entirly sure but i would sayRunehq.com is.
- Same as Habbox. once a reporter posts it.
- Yes.phats (Party Hats) and holiday drops etc.
- They change loads. some go up atleast 5million weekly.

1) As he said. Most popular is probaly www.runehq.com but http://runescape.salmoneus.net/ is pretty good too. Another site he forgot to add would be www.runescapecommunity.com.

3) All values drop and fall..not only on rares or holiday items basically on all items on rs.

4) The best thing to get a value would be www.runescape.com and go on their official forum and go to correct section. Check how much people usually want for it and how much are people ready to offer.

And staff do not control prices, players do in a way. It is the economy

Yes Rune HQ is definately more popular. But Habbo Hotel isnt as big as Runescape. I think in terms of users per thousand players Habbox could be more popular but its hard to tell.

So please can you guys confirm that this is true. There are rares on Runescape. To get the values you look at the trading forums. The values are not displayed simply anywhere. If the fansites wanted to, they could display the rare values. The official Runescape site doesnt show the values anywhere apart from in threads that users make asking for trades.

Is that correct? Do you think Fansites for Runescape would want to show the values or not?
