Default 'New' anoying scam. Some have already fallen for it.

    Hey,

Just telling you guys that there is a (new) scam that is rather popular under the noobish scammers. It's easy to detect specially if the scammer is really noobish but some of my friends have fallen for it because they noticed it too late (don't call them noobs please as one of them uses this forum, thank you. )
Now what they do, is when you sell an items, let's say a sara plate for 1m, nice round number, the scammer first offers you 1000k, but quickly changes it to 10004(gp), the 4 looks like a k, so some people think it says 1000k, and agree and are then left with only 10k, instead of 1000k.
I know, this isn't a very difficult scam but if you're sleepy or if you aren't paying attention you could fall for it, and some people have.
So just to inform you, do with the info what ever you want, don't say you weren't warned if you do fall for it.

For you to expect someone to call your friend a "noob", you must've thought they were a "noob" in the first place. The scam is really old anyway.

It is if you think it's weird I expect people calling others a noob because they fell for a scam.

I got new between ' and (, so it's kinda, renewed, back popular.
And how else can people be aware of the scam if they don't know how it's done?
