Other than that if gives an increased chance of getting gems while mining.

A glory makes you donate all your stuff to me.
A glory gives you better def and att bonusses (or only def, forgot and I don't care) and all the things Charles mentioned. About the gem part, it only works when it's charged.[CENTER]Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
