Depends, with expensive you could mean high sentimental value, or something you value as very important and you can't play properly without, so in my case, its a whip.

o.O Christmas crackers have gone up loads. It used to be worth less than the blue phat.

But I agree with Bobx, some items have a high sentimental value so you could say they're worth more. In my case that's my account.
