To bump you usually have to double post, which is against the rules.

Also, if your topic needs a bump then it means other people are not talking in it, which probably means it isnt of interest, and therefore doesn't need bumping.

    Oh and yeah, it's annoying.

No it isn't annoyng, it shows that this forum is unpopular as you need to bump to bring up your post to the top.

When your post isn't of interest to people no more and no-one reads if people put something like **BUMP** to get their thread recognised again, as it brings it to the top in the particular Forum.

Unpopular? May I remind you of the Forum statistics: Threads: 41,921, Posts: 372,914, Members: 13,953 -- I would hardly call us unpopular, I'd like to see another Habbo fansite's Forum with as many members as HabboxForum.

Obviously a particular thread will run out of interest after a certain amount of time, no matter how many members you have, so I really don't see how the amount of members affects the popularity of a thread.

Simple: People do annoy when they bump, and will use bump to increase their post count.

If your thread was interesting it would not need a bump. If it's something for trade, then no-one is interested in the trade, etc.

There is no need to bump, or to duplicate a thread. At all.

    Katy,

Needing to bump your post, really only shows nobody seems interested. Otherwise they would have actually posted in it.

    lol, nice one.

I hate 'bumpers'. It makes me look in that thread just to see a short word and ruined my time.

If we would allow bump it would mean everybody would bump and your thread will get down again.
