What happens if you sell a RS account to a IRL friend and Jagex finds out? Bit of a dumb question but do they just ban your account or do they take like legal action? +Rep for answers

They certainly wouldnt take legal action, and dont see how they would find out, as you could have just moved house or something, so doubt even get banned

You get banned, just because you did it with an irl friend doesn't mean it's not against the rules anymore. =/ You give you friend an unfair advantage which is something Jagex is against, like many other lame things. =/
They won't take legal actions, I'd love to be part of the judge when Jagex sues somebody for breaking their rules lmao.

Why would he be banned? Just because of a change in IP address doesnt mean he would get banned, as i say he could just as easily of moved house or something like that?

When i sold my account to my mate, they found out and it got 6 black marks.
Then he apealed saying "I just have new internet" and they got rid of them. :]
