Ok, the main thing about this method is to be patient. A lot of running to and from the bank is needed so it can get frustrating after a while but the amount of time you put in, the more 'rewarded' you will be.

Go to the Magic Emporium in Port Sarim. Talk to "Betty" I think it is and she will show you what she has for sale. Blue wizard hats here cost 2gp. I suggest buy about 1,000 for a total price of 2,000gp (2K). Once you have a fair amount of hats in bank either run to the Grand Exchange, (North West Varrock) or teleport to Varrock and walk the short distance to the Grand Exchange. Sell all the hats for about 40gp each. So if you bought 1,000 (1K) hats you make a big profit of 38,000gp (38K).

Of course there are other ways to make money faster, but the good thing about this is that you can be level 3 to make good amounts of money. There are no other threats involved.

Tips:
-Once you put the hats on the Grand Exchange, they may not sell straight away, but keep them on for a while and watch the money start rolling in.
-If you have a highly trusted friend, tell him/her to meet you in the middle of the bank and Magic Emporium. This way you can run to the shop get the hats take them to where your friend is give the hats to them, they go and bank and you go buy more, this makes it a lot more efficient and also stops the boredom as you will always have someone to talk to.
-Dont waste your life away on Runescape, just have fun. It doesn't all HAVE to be hard work just do what you want but always stick to the rules!
