Rare Sand Dragon Released

Released a few minutes ago. Costs 25 coins and 15 shells.

We're excited to reveal a brand new rare piece of Furni, a Sand Dragon Lamp!
Most of you will probably already have put two and two together and figured out that this is indeed the surprise we were alluding to last week .. a surprise that might require every single Shell you've gathered, and then some.
The rare, flame spewing Sand Dragon is available right now in the Rare portion of the Shop for 25 Credits and 15 Shells.
If you haven't got enough Shells to get your hands on this Dragon, then you still have a few days to collect them!
This rare will be removed on August 11th, at 9am EST (that's 6am in Los Angeles, 2pm in London, 9pm in Singapore, and 11pm in Sydney).
HERE IS HOW TO COLLECT SHELLS:
Click the Quests icon inside the Hotel and find the one that lets you earn Shells. You'll be able to complete one quest at a time. Once you successfully complete a quest, you'll be notified when the next one will become available to you.
Your mission for each quest is to complete a specific action or locate a Furni item in the Hotel. Furni can belong to you or a friend or you could source it from the Shop if you wanna be sneaky. Once you've tracked down the Furni simply double click it and you'll earn a Shell!
Once you've collected 15 Shells, you can head to the 'Rare' category of the Shop - if you've also got 25 Credits, you can redeem it all for the Rare Sand Dragon!

I'm contemplating whether to buy. I have 15 shells and 25 credits, but these might end up being worthless if I'm looking to make a profile in the long run.

and i wouldn't buy one, they won't raise much or at all... i'm guessing they will be around 20c then drop 15c

Actually if you buy now and sell now you can get up to 40c for em ive seen one go for 40c
And plus some cba getting 10 shells so add 10c on to 25c to make it 35c someone would buy giving you a 10c profit :L

Hmm I can't work out how to get shells, I haven't been on in a while but when I was on I could only get one.

An ok rare though, lets hope they dont kill it (be releasing for months on end or again and again).

Shells are daily quests where for each quest completed you gain a shell. You need to have completed at least 15 quests without spending shells on items such as Shell Gifts in order to buy the Dragon.

In some aspects, this could be quite Rare. It just depends on how many people have got 15 shells & 25 coins to spend.
