Pick up different guns as you go along.
What if your using a silenced weapon with UAV jammer. Really defeats the whole purpose. Same with sniper, smg, lmg, assault.
Your type of strategy and gameplay depends on your gun. With an LMG/Assault/Sniper you tend to go long/medium range where as with shotgun/smg you go close range

Domination gets you the most XP.
More kills = More challenges = More XP.
Im fairly good at Search and Destroy aswell, ranging from 6-15 kills each match on average. Dead Silence does help out a ton though.

Ak-74u > AK-47
AK-74u had to have a bug implimented into it to make it balanced. Ak-74u = portable shotgun with Steady Aim and Stopping Power. 2 Bullets to chest or higher = death with stoppin power. The bug is that if you slap on a silencer or RDS it's hip-spread is that of an assault rifle. AK47 is a good gun though AK74 dominates it at Medium and Close range and the AK47 isnt a long range gun it is a medium range gun which the AK74u dominates.

Turtle Beach - A professional gaming headset. I have a pair and they are beastly on Search and Destroy. By the way guys there is a balancing glitch on the Ak74u and A47 with Silencers and Red Dot Sight. With the 74u a Silencer and Red Dot reduce the hip spray to that of an assault rifle. The Ak47 silencer/red dot make it's damage from 40-30 to 40-20 That means it could take you an extra 2-3 bullets to kill someone.

There is a glitch about in CoD4, it doubles the speed of the game, Im uploading a video now and I'll paste it asap.
Hey, someone PMed me on youtube about this. They told me to friend request M3tallicaManiac (I think thats his name, he is just one of the many who have the glitch currently, I also do but I've restarted my 360 so it's gone, his is aswell so just check his friends or whatever). Anyway as far as Im aware the glitch was caused by a glitch in the system, someone got a bug and if you play with that person the glitch is passed to you until you restart your 360. I heard them say in the lobby to set the settings of teh lobby to something specific unless it's that? Anyway this match was so freaking awesome, spawn killing everywhere but it was fun as hell! I have another video I will upload tomorrow though I expect Infinity Ward to fix this within a week or so. If anyone has any information on how to activiate this glitch PM me.
Also this video was done on my 2nd account as I didnt want to risk getting banned, Im paranoided :P

You mean different knifes? That's stupid, knifes are 1 hit kill even if you've got Juggernaut I think because Juggernaut only saves you from 1 extra bullet, I dunno if it saves you against a shank

1 knife - Slower attack but 100% 1 hit kill
2 knife - Faster attack 80% chance 1 hit kill

I like both, but more regular TDM.

Hardcore is good for using guns with low damage and easy for completing challenges and getting those crucial 1 shot kills with Bolt Action Rifles/ Shotguns.

Regular TDM is good for using SMG, because if you this in HC, you'll die quicker, because HC has more bullet damage. If noob is using MP40 in HC for example.

Regular all the way, I prefer playing a game that rewards skill rather than something that doesnt require you to aim. One shot with a shotgun to the foot just doesnt seem logical to me.
WaW in general is terrible, everything bar the SMG's are terrible. I went on yesterday and I spawned in front of an enemy like 4 times in 1 game.

MP40 by far, but that doesnt mean you should use it. I find playing with handicapped weapons in CoD4 like the Skorpion, M60, M14, Shotguns, MP44 and getting a good score is by far more satisfactory than getting a good score with a M16.
MP40 is the M16 of World At War. It has a glitch where each bullet is 40-50 damage will the other smg's stand at 20-30 damage. 2 Bullets even with juggernaut and your could be down.

Why are there so few British weapons and no Australian weapons at all? I think its quite funny as the US has the biggest arsenal but they had no participation in WW2 for the first two years of the war. Australia was fighting against teh Japanese more the the US and the British against the Germans, and the Russians against the Germans (although the Russians do have a fairly big arsenal by the looks of it, and everything Im talking about is in ratio) I cant remember playing as Australia once which is funny considering Australians fought the Japnese more than anybody, except maybe the Phillipines but they relied on Australian and American supplies and airforce in the second half of the war. I also cant believe what a lack of British weapons there are, the Sten, thats nothing considering the British the Germans and The Russians were the three biggest participants in the war... Great Game though, could have a little bit more improvement as you should be able the play as Australia, NZ, Britain, etc more (I cant remember being an ANZAC once)

Just completed WaW on Veteran. It was x10 harder than CoD2 and CoD4. It wasnt even hard it's just the frustration of grenades. Treyarch thought by making the game hard they'd prove a point. It's frustrating but I got it done.

Does anyone else find that tactics change as times go on? I haven't been on for months but all my old tactics which usually got me MVP just get me killed straight away now. It seems as if everyone moves with the times and the old stuff just doesn't work anymore?

I know what you mean. My tactics have hardly changed, well really my tactics havnt but my guns and perks used have.

Anyway when I started they were useless and got me a KD of 0.8 (cod4) now on both I have a decent ratio and hardly die.

Seelow is a dreadful map, it's so big which is one problem but the real issue comes when it's Search & Destroy, there's so many streets etc the map requires no skill what-so-ever and it's virtually impossible to 'dominate' the map since any idiot can flank anyone.

Shouldnt play World at War. I will never play Multiplayer in that game again until Treyarch fixes the overpowered SMGs. Honestly 3 MP40 bullets with juggernaut across the map. The MP40 is like a sniper.

Itll be nothing like the last 2, the whole system has changed if you hadnt realised. And the difference is you can choose where to shoot so chances are youll get more kills.
