Did you see the program after the game? Johnson was sooo dry. Katy Perry made up for it though with her stunningness if that's a word.

And when England play well, the media go crazy over it, when anything goes wrong, even if it's small, the media will blow it up. It's stupid really.

in all fairness I think although its a tie England is going to do very well. England was fair superior (they were in the last 40 minutes i watched) and they were very unlucky to draw. I think if they keep up the form (and replace the goal keeper) they can at least get to the semi finals.

England weren't bad as half of the people made out. We weren't great but weren't bad. Too many people underestimated America. We were unlucky that one of their two shots on target was ****** up by Green (who I feel sorry for). The only criticism was leaving Joe Cole on the bench. I get bored of watching Wright-Philips run into defenders. The USA had a fairly good game but weren't much of a threat going forward- I'm confident we can win against Slovenia and Algeria and score more against them than the USA and finish top of the group.

Johnson needs to sort himself out a bit too. One of our biggest threats going forward yesterday was Lennon, he thrives on receiving the ball early and running at defenders but Johnson somehow felt the need to bomb forward at every opportunity. Although he didn't get caught short, I lost count of the amount of times the USA were on the counter-attack and Johnson at the half way line.

Heskey had a very good game I thought too.

    ITV are ****.

The USA obviously highlighted him as a threat because whenever he had the ball the midfielder and defender on his side always seemed to be marking him very closely. That's probably why he was moved to the left.

this is a joke yes? johnson, gerrard and lampard were by far our best players? lennon was decent but his final product was embarrasing.
