why should I? I'm Welsh. I support Cardiff and dislike Swansea as they are rivals. I doubt England would support the rest of us if it was the other way round.

Oh I'm by no means suggesting that the Welsh/Scots/Irish (lol Irish) should support England, I just think it's stupid that they seem to want anyone but us to win, even the French ;|

On a side note; Heskey was immense today, seriously, and should have had a goal himself.

100% I fully believe he was better yesterday than I've ever seen him since his "prime" (not that he particularly had one), really proved himself.

Johnson needs to sort himself out a bit too. One of our biggest threats going forward yesterday was Lennon, he thrives on receiving the ball early and running at defenders but Johnson somehow felt the need to bomb forward at every opportunity.

Which England game were you watching? Johnson and Lennon were playing fantastic football together, especially first half.

Johnson played very very well. And he was probably told to go forward. A. Cole was told not to, as Donovan was on his side and Donovan would have taken advantage, but Johnson knew he could get away with going forward a lot and he did so very well.

The good players were Johnson, Terry, Gerrard and Heskey imo. Cole did his job fine but didn't stand out although he wasn't bad either. Same goes for Lampard imo.

this is a joke yes? johnson, gerrard and lampard were by far our best players? lennon was decent but his final product was embarrasing.

He played well but his willingness to go as far forward up the pitch as possible every time faded Lennon out of the game. Lennons final product wasn't that bad- there were a couple of dangerous balls which went straight through the defence and most of his crosses won us corners. Whenever he did finally receive the ball he was already cornered by two oppostition players and it was too late. Lennon thrives when he receives the ball early and runs into space. If Carragher was playing at right back we would have seen a completely different player. Lennon's pace (his main asset) can't be utilised if he has no space to run into.

Not just saying this because he plays for Spurs, if it was Walcott I'd still be saying the same.
