Wait....so you honestly believe that sometimes it is choice? Like someone can convince their body to like Men instead of Women? Wow are you naive.

Just like if people have had a bad early life it can show when they get older in things such a violence and murder. If someone is born into a family on a rough council estate and they have parents that you would consider as being rough, the likeliness is that when they grow up they will of picked up the same habits and them too be classed as the rough type still living in a council estate on benefits. What I am trying to say is a persons personality and view on life depends a lot on how they were brought up.

Yes I do... Let's not get this confused with bisexual here but if somebody is attracted to to the same and opposite sex yet they feel as if they only want to commit their life to the sex that they like the most, that would be a choice. But anyway I remember watching some comedy program on Dave like the never mind the buzzcocks type programme and the guy was saying that all men can look at another man and think "yeh he's pretty good looking" but most men just ignore it, the ones that don't choose to ignore it are gay.

There are certain things which you do not choose on a concious level, did you for example choose your intelligence? Of course not, you were just unfortunately born this way.

You pretty much summed it up there, comedy. He was saying it as a joke. I for example don't look at a woman and "choose" to ignore their good looks, I'm just not sexually attracted to them. It has nothing to do with choice.

Yes it may do, but it certainly won't affect they're sexual preferences.

Do you honestly think people who have been bullied, terrorised and even commited suicide in the past "choose" to be gay? No, they don't

    In most cases
No, if someone likes the same and opposite sex then they are Bisexual, not gay... A gay person is someone who is only attracted to the same gender...

for one, that's utter rubbish. just because you have crap parents, it doesn't mean that you're never going to achieve anything & live on the 'same council estate on benefits.'
for example, my mum had me when she was 16, did rubbish with her gcse's, has lived in plymouth all of her life & never had anything better than a dead end job.
i'm not saying my mum's a bad person, she just made a mistake at a young age. but that doesn't mean i'm going to do any of those things. i'm already 17 & not had a child. i'm in a committed 2 year relationship, i got 9 A-C's at GCSE. i'm predicted 3 A's for A level, and next year i'll be off to london for university. i'll be the second in my family to go.

and although all of that is off topic to sexuality, what you said is still rubbish.

My cousin is a social worker, she would be able to give you a thousand word essay on why what I have just said is not a load of rubbish as she works with families on council estates for a living and in a nut shell she has told me pretty much everything I have just told you.

you genuinely beleive being gay is a choice, but underachieving & sponging benefits is environmental? ohmy.
