Avoiding the filter in a contextual manner has always been permitted in HabboxFeedback to get points across.

There's a few responses in there. The Habbox Owners have always preferred the Habbox Filter to have all words that can be used predominantly in an insulting context to be filtered. The majority of the time the word **** will be used in an insulting context (whether it be a joke or not) therefore it's not allowed. It's not about the word being mild it's about being classed as a swearword and being insulting - that's the criteria for us to disallow it. Someone said it's just like the word idiot, no - not at all. The word idiot isn't a swear word and if it is used in an insulting way it's punished.

I cannot see why for the life of me it is not allowed. We have come a awful long way since ass was filtered and you, me and Matt pioneered a lot of it.
Sorry to be contrary but in this occasion I cannot think of one good valid reason that it is in the filter when ffs, fml, lmfao,****, freakin, fricken, frigging are allowed.

Yes and you would be penalised for it in the same way as when you call someone a freak, imbecile etc but it doesn't mean those have to be in the filter. :S People do call others bollock- brains and Bollock - heads - it means they are stupid/ silly much in the same way as d!ck head and is quite common.

By the way I missed Nixt (Garion) off the list of pioneers. Sorry Garion if you still read the forum. Sorry on this occasion I still cannot see a valid reason but I follow the rules set for me.

The thing is, freak, imbecile etc aren't swearwords and can be used in a non-insulting context whereas dick will only ever have one use that isn't inappropriate and that's calling Richard his nickname!
