What we said was that those that are in news now: Inkwell, Intersocial, .Cymru., Runeaddict99 and myself have all been in Content or have written for it therefore would know, although I don't really want to write guides like that as I'm not really a fanatic about that side of Habbo.

Okay... so let's think about the future of News. When news staff come in (who obviously won't be able to write in both styles because they're not adaptable AT ALL) what are you going to do? Just say they don't need to do them? That's a bit unfair. Content have always done guides and it should really stay that way. All the people you want to do the guides are in the Content Department anyway like you said. Bar a couple.

yea i do agree on that really, not really had any real life articles done atm anyway at least for that to happen lmao. be nice if there could be more unique ones like the tiger bread and salty cheese really cause they actually make for an entertaining read lmao

guides as in what we are on about are very similar to current news anyway though, it's literally going to be cut out the non-necessary bits from a badge report and make it as concise as possible so that it just says this badge has been released and how to get it (and for the case of those who don't tell you how to get it in their reports to add that too). wouldn't really call it similar to the wiki work etc lmao

Nope you're still incorrect about that, there are people who have been there long enough to know SPAG yet they don't.

for me it was not enjoying either the site or wiki work at all found it really boring and dry which is why i wouldnt return with the guides thing unless I could just do that.

i believe was also same reason for .cymru./Shoned

@Skynus; thing is though it's not going to be a forced min cause it'll just be a sub-section asusming that's what happens not some other way, so that other people from the normal news can still contribute to if they wish (but the people who are in that sub-section will have that as their min instead)

That's exactly my point. It shouldn't really be a debate at all.

Also, if content were to take hold of this new idea, it could work hand-in-hand with the wiki when we get badge information added onto there as when a member of staff has created the guide, they can then go and edit the relevant badge page on the wiki to include the information on how users were able to earn the badge with the knowledge still fresh in their mind

I never said they weren't adaptable, I said and I will still say they're different styles.

They shouldn't need to do guides if they don't want to? If it's coming to news or content I don't expect to be writing them, there's a difference really isn't there as guides about something happening on Habbo currently are more suited to the community rather than content? Like I said though I don't mind which department if any does it.
