The producers hinted that their cast is getting smaller "very fast". That may be a hint or maybe not. Specially brining back the eye patch guy and introducing a new person on the island plus the lost leader, that will mean a few deaths to come :(.

They also said that we will find out a lot about the "others". I am very very interested to see what is going on.

Lately we have heared about how the plane crashed and there were no survivours. But Michael left with Walt on the boat So michael is dead? John locks dad conned James mum, So james kill locks dad... Coinsidence? I think that the connection between the people on the plane is starting to make sence. Somthing has gone wrong in all of there lives and they are all involved in each others lives before they came to the island. I think there not dead but there not alive there somewhere in the middle.

Following ABC's announcement that Lost will air for three more seasons, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse shared some of their future plans with Entertainment Weekly. The producers discussed their excitement about Seasons Four through Six and previewed the Season Three finale. Among the highlights:

* All told, the six seasons of Lost will reach a total of 117 episodes.
* Straight from the mouth of Damon Lindelof: "You won't have to wait until 2010 to get all the answers you really care about."
* Cuse and Lindelof believe that a scheduled end date will satisfy fans' concerns about the writers' plans for the show.

* Carlton Cuse mentioned that both he and Damon Lindelof looked at the show's scheduled end point as a condition for staying with the show.
* The producers are pleased with the 16-episode seasons, since an uninterrupted season of 24 episodes is harder to make.
* Season Four of Lost will premiere in February 2008, with no breaks between episodes. According to Carlton Cuse, there are "strong indications" that the show will get an earlier time slot.
* Lindelof hinted that viewers will learn about a "significant event" from Jack's past in the season finale.

EP 321 CHARLIE'S FLASHBACKS
Basically, this is another show where they make you think that Charlie's going to die, but then it doesn't happen.

Desmond tells Charlie that he's seen a vision of Charlie's death and that this time it HAS to happen because it's going to cause another of his visions to come true -- one of Claire and her baby being rescued from the island by a helicopter. He tells Charlie that he's going to drown after turning a switch next to a yellow light in a new underwater hatch.

At the same time, Sayid tells Jack that he can't get a rescue signal out on Naomi's phone because Rousseau's old distress call is blocking the signal. He tells Jack that they need to go to a radio tower to turn it off. Juliet, though, tells them that still won't get the signal out because Ben has been blocking all transmissions from the island by a jamming device on an underwater hatch called THE LOOKING GLASS.

They know from Sayid's maps that the hatch is flooded. Charlie volunteers for the suicide missions to swim down there and turn off the signal. After what Desmond's told him, he now knows that this is his destiny.

He swims down to the underwater hatch -- but it isn't flooded! He comes up in a pressurized chamber. He's overjoyed that he doesn't have to die....but discovers that there's TWO CHICKS down there (probably Others) pointing guns at him.

The FLASHBACKS are the five greatest moments in Charlie's life. He saves a stranger being beaten on the street (the stranger is Nadia, Sayid's long-lost love), he shows his Dad he can swim when he's a young kid, he hears YOU ALL EVERYBODY on the radio for the first time, and his brother Liam gives him the DS ring. But his greatest moment is when he met Claire on the beach the first night after the plane crashed on the island. (He writes down these five memories and asks Desmond to give them to Claire after he's gone).

The episode is just okay. Not as good as the last two, it's basically setting things up for the finale. It would've been better if they'd have killed Charlie in it.
Now onto the finale...

Episode 322 FINALE "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS"

The finale is full of action, a few deaths -- and that huge twist I mentioned earlier.

First, the deaths. A bunch of Others get killed when they try to raid the camp. This includes Friendly, who Sawyer shoots in cold blood -- and also the other new tough guy Other (I think his name is Price) who gets run over by Hurley in the van.

And Charlie FINALLY dies. Thank god. I've always thought he was one of the weaker characters and his death has been threated in so many episodes its about time it finally happened. He unblocks the jamming signal in the underwater station but drowns when Mikhail uses a grenade to blow it up, killing them both. It's a cool death for Charlie. Maybe cooler than he deserves.

Another big moment is when an old favorite of the show returns. Locke is just about to kill himself in the Dharma grave pit that he fell into after Ben shot him when he hears a voice telling him not to. He looks up to see...WALT!! Walt helps him out of the pit and then disappears. No sign of Michael, and there's no explanation about where Walt has been or what happened to him or Michael.

Locke then makes it to the Radio Tower -- and gets there in time to kill Naomi just before she makes the rescue call. He throws a knife straight into her back. Jack can't understand what Locke is doing and tells him that he'll have to shoot him to stop him from making the call himself. Locke threatens to kill Jack, but then backs down.

Jack makes the rescue call -- and someone on the other end answers. The story on the island ends with help on the way. Or maybe not. Ben has told Jack that Naomi and her people aren't who they say they are -- and just before he dies, Charlie sees a transmission in the underwater hatch from Desmond's Penny -- who, contrary to what Naomi has said, denies that she knows Naomi at all!!

But the HUGE TWIST of the episode -- in fact, probably the huge twist of the entire series -- happens in the flashback. They start by showing that Jack is totally ****** up. He's popping pills and suicidal. The first flashback shows him about to kill himself by jumping off a bridge -- only a car accident nearby causes him to stop, and instead of killing himself he fins himself helping the accident victims.

But he keeps spiraling. He sees his ex-wife at the hospital -- she's pregnant with another man's child. He goes to a funeral of a person that we never discover, but whoever it is, his (or her) death rocks Jack hard. He steals drugs from the hospital and is caught by the new doctor in charge.

And all the time, he's constantly on the phone desperately trying to contact somebody. And the last scene shows us who...he goes to meet the mystery person, and it's the last person on earth we would think...it's KATE!

And it's now that we realize that for the first time in Lost history, we haven't been watching a flashback. We've been watching a FLASH-FORWARD!

Yep, that's right. THEY ACTUALLY SHOW THAT JACK AND KATE MAKE IT OFF THE ISLAND. For some reason, this has been the cause of Jack's spiral. He tells Kate they have to go back to the island. She refuses and drives away. The show finishes with Jack screaming "We have to go back!!"

It's a bold move by the writer's no doubt, but I'm not sure if it will pay off entirely. It raises many other questions -- how did they get off the island, did anyone else get off the island, who stayed behind -- but on a show that has been all about our heroes trying to get back home, its kind of disappointing to know that Jack and Kate actually return to the mainland and that they could stay there if they want.

The twist is bound to cause huge discussion among Lost fans. I felt it was a bit of a cheat, but maybe others will like it more...

At first I thought she was an other but it was debunked in a previous episode when Ben and co were surprised what had happened. My memory is poor but I don't remember her saying she worked for Widmore (Penny)? If she did remember Ben still says "they're not who they say they are" in either a trailer or previous episode. And who they are implied to be is obviously working for Penny. It just doesn't seem right though.

Tash I wouldn't be surprised if they had Charlie's supposed death as a diversion for something massive. They've been building this death up for ages and to kill him off in the most predictable of fashions isn't Lost-worthy.

Just watched latest episode. Slightly behind the rest of you but im sticking to my Sunday Lost slot..i have will power lol! Even though i knew charlie wasnt going to die in this episode i was still on the verge of tears. I cant believe they are killing him off what is the meaning of this. Hes just ACE! Why dont they get rid of some of those useless characters like Bernard or Rose. I'll weep when charlie dies.

It was very sad that Charlie died, I liked him. I want to know why Ben thinks they shouldn't leave, if walt was real or a vision/astral projection, where Mikhail got a grenade from and if the flashforward was real or maybe Johns vision or something Ben was being shown by Jacob. I also hope that John, Bernard and Rose stay on the island (as John and Rose were healed and Bernard is Roses husband). I also think someone should remove Bens arm with that fuselage machete and that Juliet and Sawyer should get together and John becomes the leader of the Others.

What was that wheel thing for on the otherside? Just for opening it? Thats weird cos in "tale of two cities" when jack opens that door and the water comes out the door they close doesnt have a wheel on it but its the same door which jack had a wheel on to turn to open it and the water only came in through that door. Lost confuses me. :S So all the doors would be the same in all the dharma hatches i would of thought so they can be opened and locked the same way.

I'm guessing they got let off the island by someone, and left the rest behind. So that's why Jack took those repeat visits to Tokyo and Australia because he wants to go back. He's obsessing over where the island is (Hence all the maps in his house). To the lying bit, maybe he and Kate were told to keep shush about what really happened?

-Are Naomi's people good or bad? (I didn't trust Naomi. She seemed too calm about the whole land-on-unchartered-island-with-supposedly-dead-people thing) How did they actually get off the island? Did anyone stay? (I think Ben was telling the truth about Naomi. Did you see the fear in his eyes? But then again, how did they leave if he was telling the truth?)
I hope they're the remaining DHARMA people, as Ben said they'd destroy everything. They were having trouble with the hostiles when they first got onto the island. Unless DHARMA has been disbanded.

-Was that really Walt or was Locke seeing things? Where's Michael then?
Blates the black smoke, you always hear whispers before someone appears (Eko's brother, Walt..etc).

-Where does Penny come in to all of this?
Still wanting to find Desmond. But after the ending of S2, she's done nothing even though her foreign people found the signal. But then again, y'know Naomi was saying a woman hired her..if it's not Penny, then who is it? How does Naomi even know Desmonds name? Why did she have his picture if she wasn't sent by Penny!

-Is Jack's father alive? Jack says, "You get my father down here... and if I'm drunker than he is, you can fire me."
No. I thought it was a rhetorical question, which is why the guy didn't go get him.

Other stuff:
-Charlie didn't have to die. He can hold his breath for four freakin' minutes! He could have tried to swim up to the surface. Or he could have closed the door AFTER he got out of the room. Mikhail took long enough to detonate the grenade.
He did. If the things in Desmonds flashforwards change (Like when Charlie didn't die, and it wasn't Penny) then the rescue wouldn't happen.

-Jack should have just killed Ben.
No, Bens too cool.

-Mikhail needs to die. He's overdue.
Of course.

-Sayid is flippin awesome. Did you see him kill that guy using only his feet? Hands tied?
He was in the army, and interrogator so probably trained to do that sort of stuff.

-Sawyer's pretty cold-blooded nowadays. He killed Tom without any remorse. Maybe he's lost his will to live considering he completed his life mission.
Yeah, he's changed. Probably because the real Sawyer didn't take his letter seriously and our Sawyer spent most his life trying to find him. So he's a bit peed off.

-Kate didn't look too happy to be rescued.
In the flashforward? Maybe she's got over it, although it must've been damn hard.

-Golden Passes? Kate and Jack seem to be heroes in the flash.
From Oceanic of course, because they were stranded for so long?

I thought they died! Y'know when we went back to the beach and Tom and the other guy were talking and we saw a dead body. I was like ''eep'', but then we saw them safe ;D

If you see his cell phone its a new Matrolla XHRZ, also the newspaper said something about it being April 2007, this referring to a 3 year flash-foward.

I saw that too & did anyone else notice how right at the beginning of ep22, the people sat behind Jack looked awfully like Jin & Sun? Oh and Jack's ex-wife sarah appears pregnant.. so no wonder he's a bit heartbroken.
