I just watched episode 109, which is the last episode of the Bounto arc, excluding the recap after it.

Can someone explain...
Kariya's death/disappearance at the end? There are several things that could have happened. He could have died due to using the overwhelming power of the seal thing in his weakened state. Ichigo could have simply cut him down. He could have disappeared by himself, etc. I'm confused because I reckon Ichigo killed him (he did turn into dust like all of the other Bounto's did when they died, plus he like disappeared in the middle of a sentence) but Ichigo says 'after all this he disappeared by himself'. :S He also says 'perhaps he just wanted to end his life' or something similar, ooookayy... Going through all that to get to the Soul Society, getting the ultimate power to destroy it and then he just wants to die? I'm so confused.

Disappointed with one thing...
How can they end the Hueco Mundo arc like that!? In the Manga after Ichigo sliced Grimmjow up he didn't actually die, he got back up and was about to continue the fight, but Ichigo throws his sword down and says that he'll fight Grimmjow as many times as he wants but for now can he just leave it, Grimmjow doesn't care what Ichigo says and was about to cut him but then the guy who nearly killed Chad comes up behind Grimmjow and kills him. I like how Ichigo killed Grimmjow in the anime and then showed signs that he didn't actually want to see Grimmjow dead, but they can't follow the manga like that. Once the guy who nearly killed Chad shows up and kills Grimmjow, it's revealed that Nel was the former 3rd Espada and the guy (who nearly killed Chad and killed Grimmjow) snuck up on and attacked Nel in the past, causing her to turn into her child-form, giving her amnesia, and allowing him to expel her from the Espada. But once the guy starts torturing Ichigo, Nel turns back into her adult form, turns into her released form (which is like a centaur (http://img37.onemanga.com/mangas/00000003/00000296/04-05.jpg)) and starts beating the **** out of him. Unfortunately she turns back into her child form just as she was about to finish him off though. But now that they've left Hueco Mundo in the anime, how are they going to make that happen. :eusa_wall I must see Nel in her adult and released form!

Yer! And some were wondering if its before and after the hueco mundo arc, and i (with my smartness) realised a way to tell. If u look at the beginning episodes of this new arc, chad fights, look at what arm he uses coz he changes which arm he uses in hueco mundo coz of that shield.

You make a good point, but Ichigo was constantly training with the vizards, Chad was constantly training with Renji (who is now in Soul Society), Rukia and Orihime were in Soul Society training, Ishida was training with his dad, etc. They were all apart during the training period and the fact that Renji is now in Soul Society instead of training with Chad proves that it can't be during the training period.
You could now say that it's before the training period, but then how could Ishida use his bow and Chad use his new moves.
This arc could end up going into the training arc, but then Chad and Ishida have already used their new moves which they got during training, so nothing makes sense.
Whatever happens, these anime-only writers don't seem very smart to create so many plot holes. It will probably end up actually being before Hueco Mundo, but as I've said above, a lot of things are against that. These writers, eh. :P When you go off into a story that has nothing to do with the original story all you get is pointless fillers and plot holes. :(

What I do like is the manga's Pendulum chapters which I think is awesome and the latest is vri interesting.

Yeah, it would be a hell lot better if it is before Hueco Mundo.
If it is before Hueco Mundo there are going to be a few plots holes. Which isn't good.
If it is after Hueco Mundo then they're in real trouble as they like stopped in the middle of something, so all the characters are going to have to be in the exact same places, doing the exact same things they were doing before they went off into the filler arc. Which would be very awkward and stupid.
They're ****** either way. :P We don't know what might happen next in the current arc though, so lets hope they do explain it all without leaving any plot holes.

I wonder what would be better, following the manga and just taking 3 month breaks when needed instead of making filler episodes, or making loads of fillers when they need more manga material, the way it's done at the moment.

Im currently on 80. So far the Bounto arc has been pretty dull. It's like, there's been one fight, between Ichigo and that the bounto with a soul-patch which was a pretty good fight, but then Ichigo got 'flicked' by Kayin or w/e. It's just annoying because it seems like, the only thing that holds this whole arc together, is the fact that neither Ichigo or Renji can use Bankai because if they could it's like, yeh k, here's some randomer, he's kinda good, k Shikai ain't working - Bankai - that dint work - go hollow - *wins*. lol. So I'm hoping it turns out to be more interesting than that. Im currently on 80. So far the Bounto arc has been pretty dull. It's like, there's been one fight, between Ichigo and that the bounto with a soul-patch which was a pretty good fight, but then Ichigo got 'flicked' by Kayin or w/e. It's just annoying because it seems like, the only thing that holds this whole arc together, is the fact that neither Ichigo or Renji can use Bankai because if they could it's like, yeh k, here's some randomer, he's kinda good, k Shikai ain't working - Bankai - that dint work - go hollow - *wins*. lol. So I'm hoping it turns out to be more interesting than that. Yeah, the fights at the beginning are really lame. They do get better though. Cloud, Nova and Ririn add a lot of humour to the arc. There are a lot of funny bits to come. :D I like Chad but Inoue just pisses me off. :P The characters in the Bounto arc are probably the worst characters in the whole series though, excluding Kariya and Mr. T.

Kariya vs Ichigo was basically Byakuya vs Ichigo all over again. :P The Bounto arc is funny though. Seeing Ichigo go hollow against Mr. T and own his annoying doll was also brilliant. Arrancar arc = win. Grimmjow = holy **** omg omg omg omg awesome brilliant amazing. You've got the best to come.

Arrancar are hollows that have gained the powers of a Soul Reaper (Death God).
Vizard's are Soul Reapers (Death Gods) that have gained powers of a hollow.

Ichigo would be a Vizard.

Arrancar are just any hollow that has got the power of Soul Reapers, but Vasto Lorde will definately take a human form and be the most powerful. Lower class menos and hollows usually turn out weird.

I'm pretty sure their leader is aware of their existance, and so are some other Espada, Grimmjow didn't seem know about them though.

Yep, that's right. 1 is the strongest, 10 is the weakest (although still bloody mega super ultra strong). Grimmjow is indeed the 6th Espada. :P

Urahara v/s Yammy & Autistic-blonde-weirdo arrancar (blonde boy, kinda)
Hitsugaya&Matsumoto&Aysegawa&Ikkaku v/s New #6 Arrancar, with 8 legs
Ichigo v/s Grimmjow (round 2)

Like, up to this point I'd always thought that the Espada were defo gonna win because they seem to be absolute powerhouses against even the likes of a captain but then the other characters came into the fight, Urahara & Hirako Shinji and I just thought OYE.
It's like, Shinji had no bother with Grimmjow (fair enough he wasn't released& missing an arm LOL) and Urahara hadn't even gone Bankai and was easily controlling Yammy.
The one thing that DID concern me though, was Ulquiorra. As the Espada went back to Hueco Mundo, he easily overpowered Grimmjow using only his hands and that was enough for him to know his place, even Shinji stopped and just let it happen.
And this is all baring in mind that Ulquiorra is rank #4... :(

Ye ino what you mean about Zaraki beating those 2 Captains, both w/ Bankai. This makes me believe a good fight would be Zaraki v/s Aizen, cause we already know that Aizen is x2 as strong as a normal captain :D

Back on where i am atm, 145: Grimmjow just got his arm back AND Ichigo still hasn't progressed any further than 11 seconds...so me thinks Ichigo is gonna get PWND, although Chad and Ishida are pretty hefty now, still not enough to take on the rest of the Espada, Gin, Tousen AND Aizen...:(

Ok, a lot of spoilers below for anyone who hasn't seen past the Hueco Mundo arc.

Oh god, now I know what the songs called. I'm going to have to kill myself. I hate it! It doesn't go with anything. I couldn't do anything but facepalm when they played it during the Ichigo vs Yammy fight. It ruined the whole moment for me. Didn't go with the scenes, didn't go with the actions, didn't go with the mood. Ichigo may have been 'pwning it up' but he wasn't his self, he was dark and angry, playing that song was the total opposite of the mood. That's why it's terrible.

I already stated it wasn't that bad, but it's definitely a crap arc compared to all the other ones. The fact that I absolutely hated that Yoshi woman and that Ishida was being a little ***** didn't help, lol. Plus they had the worse villains ever. Two gay kids who control water, a stupid woman with a talking fan and sword, an old man that rides around on a whale, an annoying **** with a little hamster that controls people, I mean COME ON! My *** could think of better villains than that. There were a few good bits in the Bounto arc, such as Soifon in action, although she was paired with the worst villain of them all, and Hollow Ichigo vs Mr. T and Dalk, that was awesome. Mayuri vs that old whale moron was also pretty damn good. But compared to everything else that happens in Bleach, the Bounto arc is very minor and insignificant.

Try comparing Ichigo vs Kariya with such fights as Ichigo vs Grimmjow, Byakuya vs Renji and the many fights with the former espada. Anyone can see that the Bounto arc doesn't win points for anything. :P Although I gotta say, the way Kariya died was annoying (he was in the middle of a sentence dammit, I hate it when they do that), but it had something about it that made it cool, and I liked the fact that he was kinda like what Ichigo could become. It's a shame the fight was Ichigo vs Byakuya all over again with the Ichigo vs Zaraki outcome. The arc was interesting but was just executed the wrong way. Change the villains for good ones (excluding Mr. T and Kariya), definitely change the Bounto's dolls, add better fights to start the arc off (watching the first half of the Bounto arc was like having my eyes scorched out by a hot rod, it was torture) and have totally new and original fights instead of recycling old ones. The Bounto arc could have been so much better. Why are the anime staff so crap at coming up with ideas.

Dordonni was so cool, and he was so funny! It was hilarious when Nel swallowed his cero. The fight between Ishida and that girl is the funniest moment ever in Bleach. I might have to watch them episodes again, they are so funny!

Just watched the ep where Peche starts to help Ishida, his Infinite Slick attack made me lol. Then when Ishida asked him to do it again he just acted puzzled totally about it.
The funniest Nel moment for me was when they were all riding on Bawabawa's back after Rukia and Renji had arrived and Nel was glaring at Rukia asking her what her connection with 'Itsygo' was. :D

It also said something in the desc for a video I was watching, about a 3rd sqaud replacement captain in the place of Ichimaru Gin (I love you Gin :D). So is that going to be like a filler or will it be more a case of swap to and from Hueco Mundo and SS in each episode?

Unfortunately, in the middle of one of the most important parts in the Hueco Mundo arc, they cut to a new filler arc. You will be greatly disappointed, I warn you now. I assume that once this filler arc is over, they will continue where they left off in the Hueco Mundo arc, but they've messed it all up by creating various plot holes. Damn you Bleach anime staff!

Yeah, I dislike reading manga online as well. The anime is well ahead of the manga in England/America though, it's only just got to Grimmjow's first fight, which is episode 121 in the anime. Even with fillers, the manga isn't published in England/America fast enough to catch up to the anime now. It is indeed published every week in Weekly Shounen Jump (the Japanese one is, of course, up to date with the manga series, but the American one is well behind). Tankobon volumes are released every two months in Japan, and every 3 months in England/America. Although it used to be every 2 months, no idea why they delayed it even more. Unless you read the manga online, the anime will always be ahead. Which means we have to sit through fillers apon fillers. Quite annoying, isn't it.

So depending on how long the current Anime filler takes to wrap up and obvs how frequently they are released then it COULD catch up, but still they'd have to churn them out pretty quickly.

I thought the fight in Kariya's mansion was quite good, and there's a good fight with Mr T. aswell before they change arc (this arc change is still part of the overall bounto arc, but it's an arc change within that...if you get me). And then once the arc changes over into SS bounto, then there's some decent fights. kinda ;)
And then you get the arrancar arc which is WELL GD, but then after that there's more filler which I've tried to watch but the first episode left me bored and already predicting who was gonna be 'the bad guy'. tsk.

Lets work it out. :P The anime went off into a filler arc at volume 33 of the manga, the English release is at volume 23, 10 volumes behind. A volume is released every 2/3 months. The English manga will take 20 months at the minimum and 30 months at the maximum to catch up to the anime (if the anime took a break or was on a mega long filler or something). That's basically two years. The Bounto filler arc was 46 episodes long. An episode is released every week. That's 46 weeks, which is 11.5 months. I guess that the english Bleach manga would just be starting the Hueco Mundo arc by the time the anime picks up again, which means it will still be behind by about 6 or 7 volumes, which is 12 months/a year behind. The English manga will never catch up unless the current filler is over two years long. :P

Haha, lol. The only parts I've read in the manga are when Ichigo fights Grimmjow, when Nnoitra kills Grimmjow, when Nel (:love3:) owns Nnoitra and when Zaraki fights Nnoitra. Since the non-filler fights in Bleach are so amazing and it's at such a good point at the moment, I want to watch it happen in the anime first, so I haven't really bothered with the manga. But the current filler in the anime is going to last atleast another five months, so I might just read the manga instead. Of course, I'll still watch the anime as well though. I don't like knowing whats going to happen next in an anime, I always watch the anime before I read the manga, but I guess Bleach will have to be an exception. :P
