The Antec 1200 looks pretty big imo.

It's 50cm by 56cm, then again it is e-atx, there's a bit of a squeeze though for big GFX cards (I had to reposition 3 of my HDDs to fit my GFX card in)

It's from the Galant series from Ikea, they have loads of cool shapes and addons to it, essentially it's a desk which you can heavily customise, e.g. you could drill into it to create points for cables to come out of. I personally have a corner right desk.

You can get cool stuff for it, such as a back clip on power strip holder cage thing and a PC tower holder.

The main idea is that you can get multiple Galant series desks and clip them together... which is awesome.

Building a "cheap as chips" server. So far I have spent £28 and got:

A Gigabyte LGA775 motherboard from a good friend of mine, fully boxed and unopened.

Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.6GHz lent to me by a friend (Soon to be upgraded to a Core2Duo when I have reached a price agreement with someone, which will be ~£15 hopefully).

1.5GBs of RAM, some from a friend for free, some I had lying around (hopefully will end up with 4GBs)

Crappy Nvidia PCI-E graphics card I had lying around which I only used to setup ESXi anyway.

160GB SATA drive I had lying around.

PSU I also nabbed from an old(er) computer ;D

Will be running Server 2003 R2 (from Dreamspark) as a VM, Ubuntu Server 9.10 and will probably act as print/web/email/file servers.

A NIC that ESXi actually supports (doesn't like the onboard) I also had lying around :P

I actually find that mouse more comfortable than the standard shaped one I used before. The only thing I don't like is there's no scroll wheel.

For anyone concerned that the decor is ****, don't worry, I'm getting a new lick of paint on it next month. Eventually I plan to have a 22-23" monitor wall mounted, and I might keep the old ProView for viewing TweetDeck and iTunes (I THINK the 4670 that I plan on using in my new system can do 2 monitors at once)

Yeah behringer mixer... you will notice all the EQ is flat... im not a fan of them mixers with built in effects....

Get a much better sound with VST's etc.... I only have a mixer so I can have other mics plugged in and for the phantom power...

Behringer stuff sounds nasty though. I've used a few Behringer outboards and they sound so so so cheap compared to DBX stuff which isn't much more expensive. Oh well.

Some expensive keyboard by Eclipse or something futuristic-y

Stored in various places (because I like to make my obsolete stuff feel used):

Original PowerBook 17" - basically mint cond., keeping for about 10 years and then selling as retro.
Mac mini (1 year old, base model) - print server/backup server.
15" LG LCD widescreen - for whenever I have the desk space
PowerMac G5 - which might become a Linux server soon

- Reinstalled RAM cooler
- Added exhaust fan above CPU
- Moved the dust filter that came with the case (at the bottom) to the sidepanel, didn't wanna spend more money... lol

Gotta love compressed air, only downside is how cold the damn can gets :P Looks a lot more cleaner

Amazon, Ebuyer, etc. Usually cheaper from other sites anyways. I've never ordered off their site because one product could be $100 and then when you switch to €, it'll be €100, which doesn't make much sense.

Probably my last ever "post your setup" picture as I've spent too much money on stuff like this and have decided my setup is now finished and won't be changed again :P So here's my finished setup with my new laptop. Laptop is connected to my main machine via Synergy (which works beautifully despite the Mac OSX port of it not being completely finished).
