The excitement and hype each year makes me want to play it as soon as possible! As soon as I saw screenshots of Smackdown VS RAW 2009, I thought "This is gonna be awesome!!" Anyway, in order for me to enjoy yet another instalment of the great Smackdown games, I would like to request some things. Alternate attires for superstars would be great, such as Masked Kane from 1999, Triple H attire from 1998 (tights), Shawn Michaels alternate attire and other superstars with alternate attires. Also, I'd like to request a legend. I have read that you want fresh legends this year, and my request is fresh. How about the 1-2-3 Kid, AKA X-Pac. RVD left WWE because he was burnt out, like Jericho back in 2005. He said that he will be back, and he wants to return to the WWE when he does.

Owen is a legend. He was a great athlete. I think people think because he was still young, he does not fit in with the 'you have to be old to be a legend' thing. He would of been HOF anyway.

If it was not for Bret and several other Harts, they would all be on good terms. Dont expect Owen to be in the HOF or SVR game.. Bret and the Harts hate WWE. Diana and all them dont want to have nothing to do with WWE.


I would think it would make more sense to dedicate the LOW game to older legends. Leaving SVR for Legendary attires.

Well, Vince and Bret are actually on good terms now. They had a huge talk and worked things out, which lead to the Bret Hart DVD a couple of years ago. Vince was also the first person to call Bret when he had his stroke. I read that Bret no longer blames Vince for Survivor Series, but hates Shawn.

Bret was WWF Champion and told Vince he was going to WCW because they offered him more money. There are four Bret Hart wrongs there, 1. WWF Champion, 2. Top WWF star, 3. Already being paid very well in WWF, 4. Fan support. Hart was willing to spit in the face of all the WWF fans and sell out to WCW. He deserved all he got that night.

Has anyone here played Extreme Warfare Revenge? It's a free PC game where you basically control a wrestling company of your choosing to EVERY last detail. It is by far the most detailed and realistic wrestling game ever made, well, it was anyway, there is a newer game by the same developer but you have to pay and thus there are no real wrestlers, so I don't bother with that, but EWR is GREAT, and I really recommend it. It's text and button-based.

No, you don't wrestle, you basically run the promotion for the owner and sort out everyting in extreme detail, from finances to TV deals, PPVs, Supercards, you completely run the shows from head-to-toe and there are thousands upon thousands from all over the world who you can hire. There pretty much is nothing you can't do, and I'm not even exaggerating.

You choose a real promotion to run out of a big selection. There are constant unofficial updates that give you latest updated rosters and promotions. Basically, say you choose TNA, you'll have all the current TNA wrestlers and champions, and you'll have iMPACT! on Thursday, and you'll also have all their current staff members. You can hire anyone who is not on a written contract from like thousands of real wrestlers from the indies to mainstream. Your TV shows get ratings, you can send tapes to different TV networks, you expand as a company, like you start off as a backyard federation and grow to global level. Ticket prices, merchandise, sponsors, angles, storylines, feuds, matches, stipulations, authority figures. It's GM Mode x one hundred billion. Yes. EVERYTHING you could possibly think of, you can do.

Lol cool. WCW Mayhem was meant to be quite good, but I probz won't get it. There is some critical reception though: Many had high expectations for the game, but after its release, it received mostly subpar reviews. Critics blasted the game for its poor collision detection and lack of diverse movesets. In addition, many felt the much-touted create-a-wrestler mode was nothing more than average. The commentary has been described by most critics better than the WWE games.

Yes. :) I think Smackdown Shut Your Mouth had a good backstage area too. I think it was in the boiler room, you could irish whip your opponent into this steam tank thing and it would throw them up into the air over the rails and over the stairs and just smack and flip onto the concrete lol.

Quite annoyed at how Big Daddy V, Boogeyman, Chuck Palumbo, Paul London & Trevor Murdoch are in the game. They aren't even in the WWE anymore. However, I suppose they needed Big Daddy V and Boogeyman to fill up the ECW roster a bit, and Paul London is for tag team with Kendrick, and Trevor Murdoch is for tag team with Lance Cade. I like Paul London tbh, but he's outdated now for the SVR09 roster.

LOL. You really need to fix your PC so you can watch RAW & Smackdown online. I'm watching Smackdown now on the PC. ;) It's a huge match. Jeff Hardy, MVP, Mysterio, Kane, Batista, Finlay, Kendrick and JBL. 8 man tag match. They should bring back 8 man matches on SVR09 like in JBI.
