According to that list, the list of legends we thought would've been in the game such as Yokozuna, Doink, Ted Dibiase, Bret Hart, Owen Hart etc won't be on the game. :( Ahhh well, they'll probably appear in LOW or the missing numbers in the leaked roster might just mean nothing.

Hogan isn't the "best" wrestler of all time, as that sounds like you're talking about talent, but he is by far the most popular of all time.

It was confirmed a while back that Foley is not in the Legends of Wrestlemania game (was penned to be in it) nor will he be in any SVR's whilst at TNA. No big dollar pays to TNA to get him in, please, will you bury that? I know im not the best source, but you have to trust me, foley will not be in a WWE game for a while.

Indeed. As far as I can remember, Diamond Dallas Page formed an alliance with Arquette, and they teamed up to face Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett, where the winner would be the World Champion. I believe Arquette won with a spear if my mind-footage is accurate. I know he went on to defend it in the triple-tier cage match adapted from the film at a WCW pay-per-view, and lost it, to Jarrett I think.

On the last page it has 5 superstars and on the rest of the pages there are 12. 12*5=60. 60+5=65, therefore 65 superstars on the roster?

US, October 13, 2008 - There's a buzzword in the videogame world right now; it's community. True, games have always had dedicated audiences that were linked together by message boards, tin cans on string, etc., but now the merging of games and online functions is creating all sorts of ways for fans to get together and go nuts about their favs.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is no exception. In addition to the usual online matches, SVR 09 is tossing in Highlight Reel, an option where you can record parts of your matches, save them, edit them together, and then upload the file for the world to see.

The feature seems like it'll be easy enough to use. Players will do something cool in their matches; pause the game; and have the option to watch the last 30 seconds of gameplay while changing camera angles, manually moving the point of view, and fast forwarding and rewinding at will. If you dig a 30-second spot, you can save the clip and continue the match -- saving other replays whenever you feel like it. When the match is over, you can jump into the Highlight Reel option and get to work on your masterpiece.

Once you're in the editing tool, you're going to have a handful of options at your fingertips. You can toss in multiple clips, put transitions between them, add effects such as slow motion and filters, and pipe in sounds that include music from your system's playlist. There will be editable graphics and logos, the ability to change camera angles here as well, and more. I guess he's overrated ultimately if you include his wrestling ability, but he can go. He had some actually decent wrestling matches in Japan when WWF toured there and mixed in with AJPW in 1990.

Some new details on WWE’s Legends of WrestleMania video game which comes out next year, courtesy of Ian Dean and Playstation World UK:

* The game is described as more “fun” than “real.”

* Gameplay will have a simple four-button combo system. Melee attack, grapple, Irish Whip and reversal are all performed on the main buttons.

* Unlike previous WWE releases, the game does have a health bar that goes from solid gold to bright red, at which point your opponent can be pinned. Under the health bar are three numbers that represent your combo strings and determine the grapple moves you can do. If you land a couple of punches and kicks, then move into a headlock via a well-placed flying elbow, this will ping the number all the way to ‘2’ enabling you to perform a crunching body slam. Further un-countered combos will light up the ‘3’ and send the crowd wild .This is when you can access your wrestler’s signature moves and finish the fight. As you attempt to land your combos, the screen will flash prompting your opponent to hit his counter button. Get the timing wrong and you’ll be reversed and put in all kinds of pain. It’s a simple set-up, but one that’s accessible and wholly relies on the risk/reward of combos and counters.

* The wrestlers have been remodeled and aren’t realistically rendered Superstars, but they’re bigger, larger than life seeming and “hulking cartoon brutes.” The rings also look smaller with the camera kept low and zoomed in on the action. The view rarely pans out and when it does, reveals the crowd featuring fans in Bret Hart t-shirts with Hulkamania foam fingers.

* Your opponent isn’t your only adversary either, as the Eighties and Nineties-era Wrestlemania was a time of cheats and scoundrels, people Gran could shout at. The likes of Andre the Giant had helpers. In the Giant’s case, it was manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. In the game, Bobby is on hand to deliver a sneaky blow. If you get thrown into a corner, Bobby will grab your feet and pull you over, leaving you vulnerable to attack. You can keep him in check, smacking him off the ropes if he gets too close. Again, balance will be the key to whether these sidekicks become frustrating or a playful addition.
